This book is not worth reading. I believe in the benefits of ketosis and fasting and think one meal a day, OMAD, on a low carb, ketogenic diet is a good way of consistently getting into ketosis, but OMAD is challenging and this book will not make it easier. In the recipe section, he goes through 28 days of recipes, not one contains more than 500 calories, many less than 300 calories. He is suggesting a starvation diet, which should not be done without medical supervision! There is no real scientific or other high quality information in this book. He says you should not exercise for more than 60 minutes, but provides no reasons why. There is no study I have seen that says you can’t play a two hour tennis match or do a five hour bike race, eating one meal per day. In fact I think Volek’s research supports ketosis for endurance exercise because bodily fat stores vastly exceed carbohydrate stores. He gives a haphazard set of supplements that he recommends in one of the chapters, with no explanation for his philosophy overall or for any of the specific supplements. For instance he recommends L-carnitine, saying your body produces less of it as you age. True. Your body produces less of hundreds of things as you age, why supplement with this one? He never makes the point that l-carnitine is required to transport fatty acids into the mitochondria to be used as energy. When you are burning fat for fuel you need more l-carnitine. Some of the information in this book is right, much of it is wrong, some of it is dangerous. Unless you already understand this subject in considerable detail, there is no way to know which is which. If you already understand this subject in considerable detail there is nothing to be learned in this book.

Very small book with very little information. I was disappointed. I expected much more.

Amazing
The author did an excellent job in this book. Autophagy is everything from exercises to helpful nutritional information, this book outlines the simplest strategies to achieving your dream body.

Absolutely amazing guidebook
Ketogenic Autophagy such an excellent guidebook. Combine the Keto Diet & Nobel Prize Winning Science really great. All the recipes in this cookbook have to be appetizing judging from the ingredients listed. I tried this book recipes its give me a better result. I am learning lots of new things and I'm grateful for the fact that this cookbook offers flexible recipes, suitable for all kinds of dietary restrictions. I am completely satisfied with this book. Thanks to the author

Super limited info, seems rushed.... not worth it
lacking care and concern, lacking personal touch, lacking basic details ... not worth it even for its low price. You can read it in one day, eeems as if he dictated it and had a computer type it out... total lack of care and concern for the reader and topic... no empathy or tips to mentally get through the fast or OMAD..... super disappointed even in facts... not even salt was mentioned really to help push you through your fast or give you the minerals you need... don't waste your time ans money
