Longer 14” Gooseneck REALLY HELPS!
Great pop filter. Built myself a VO booth and needed a LONGER GOOSENECK and at 14” this one is it! Made it easy to position, screen doesn’t drift downward, holds steady. The PEPF30 is a good product and a good buy.

Great pop filter.
This is the best filter I have found in this price range. I have not had any problem getting the gooseneck to hold the position I want, and that seems to be the main thing other reviewers have had an issue with. For my needs, it's been great, much better than my previous filters in terms of quality and function. With this filter, you're getting additional layers of nylon around steel mesh. After testing it, I have to say I am very pleased with the performance. Pops are under control without sacrificing sound quality. Nothing more I could ask for.

Exceeding quality
Based on first impressions; this pop filter is NICE!!Double mesh screen, with a steel mesh core. Yup this is a triple layer pop filterI bought this thinking it was going to be alright, but for the price the quality of this item far exceeds similarly priced no-name filtersThe goose neck also seems very sturdy and flexible (the material used on the gooseneck feels like it is good quality). The mounting clamp also has soft touch points to keep from damaging your stand.Overall a good product, just wish the product page had a more accurate description (6 layered mesh?)Edit: seems they have added the product description. Since i have bought it, turns out this pop filter is 6 layers!

Great Pop Filter - See photo for application
I ordered this Pyle Pop Filter to have in addition to my metal screen pop filter to eliminate or reduce the "p" pop in my audio. This did the job. My editing time is greatly reduced. However, in full disclosure, I do use a double pop filter, the Pyle is first in the stack and I have a metal screen filter as the second filter. Both effectively reduce the sharp "p" pop I have in my spoken audio. The "p" sound is still there, but it's greatly softened! By the double filter technique, this smooths out my voiceover audio quality, eliminates the p and b pop, and reduces my editing time down by 75%. As a working professional voice talent, this is fantastic. My mic is the TechZone Stellar S2, an extremely sensitive mic, and I run my audio through an ART TubeMP tube processor and the Focusrite Solo and my audio quality is excellent. I got the double pop filter idea from Peter Baker from the UK.

Decent for the Price
I'm rating it on plosives, ease of use, and price.Plosives:It hasn't reduced plosives as much as I'd hoped it would. However, there is a very noticeable reduction. If I had to ballpark a guess, then I'd say it's helped improve the plosives by about 80%. I still have to fine tune my recordings with filters. It's not a perfect solution for plosives, but it's pretty good, especially for the price.Ease of Use:The metal gooseneck slides down easily. It's a little finnicky to get it back into the right position when I move my mic. I was able to secure it to my Yeti's standard mic stand. The issue is just that the filter's weight tugs the gooseneck down. Unless the circular filter is turned JUST SO to lock it in place, and then not moved, then the filter doesn't stay where you set it because it slides down.I don't know that I'd buy this pop filter again; I'd probably try another brand, and see if I could do better. But for about $12, I'm pleased overall with how much of an improvement it made to my recordings. Because as far as pop filters go, it's decent for the price.

Completely eliminates the puff sound in words that can distract and sound unprofessional.

Solid Filter, Terrible Goose Neck
The pop filter is pretty well made and it feels solid. I like that it has the metal mesh inside rather than just the nylon. My biggest complaint is that the goose neck is extremely hard to get positioned. It definitely does not want to fully support the weight of the filter on the end of it. I ended up moving the anchor back on the mic stand and turning the head so it was resting up side down, but I would be happier if this thing would stay put in other positions as well.
