In my Top 5 Cookbooks Ever!
This is one of my favorite cookbooks already and I've only had it for a few days. Here are some the reasons I love it:1. There is a picture with EVERY recipe. This is one of my pet peeves with other cookbooks. I hate when they don't have a picture.2. As I poured through the cookbook with my daughter who recently became egg free, she ohhed and ahhed and begged me to make at least 80% of the recipes which is quite an accomplishment!3. Many of the meal recipes are ones my family would all eat (again- a big accomplishment)!4. There are so many great alteration suggestions for different needs such as dairy free, paleo, etc. This is so helpful as we have family members who are dairy free, also.5. We have already made 2 of the granola recipes which were super delicious as both a snack and for a breakfast cereal that are SO much healthier than the store bought ones. We used all maple syrup, as suggested for Paleo, to reduce any sugar intake.6. We also made the chicken cordon bleu. We didn't have an air fryer as suggested in the recipe so I cooked it on an elevated tray in the oven. My family loved it and asked for more!7. There are recipes that are SO hard to find in gluten free (example: donuts) that look amazing in this cookbook.8. The foods all look beautiful AND delicious, but not overly complicated.9. There are NO food colorings used to make these beautiful. I love the unique, safer, healthier ways to make our food look beautiful. There are several things that we didn't previously have on hand, but I'm excited to try these new ingredients and perhaps they will become staples in our house!I rarely post reviews unless I strongly feel they will be helpful beyond what might have already been posted. I felt this was an important one to share!I would HIGHLY recommend this cookbook!!!

Absolutely a must purchase if you love food!
I preordered this book in July 2019 and to say that I was excited about this release is an absolute understatement. I have all of Brittany's books and this one is an extraordinary complication of all things food for those of us with dietary limitations. I found her blog in 2012 ish and her story and recipes gave me the hope that going off gluten and dairy was possible while still being able to enjoy food. The problem was that I needed to learn how to cook and bake. Her recipes are VERY easy to follow and adapt to ANY food allergy as she has many offerings. Egg free, dairy free, gluten free, nut free, Keto, paleo, etc. There is something for everyone brought together in a beautiful presentation. This book is huge and has it all. I had initally forgot she included beverages for a complete meal of celebration. When I finally made it thought the 270 recipies I needed to get it spiral bound as it was going to be on my counter regularly. I am currently making a double batch of limoncello and it was so easy. I can't believe I ever bought it in the store!!! I know what ingredients are in all the foods I am consuming and my body is so much happier. This book is a dream if you love food and don't want to feel like there are no options for you if you have food allergies.

WOW! I'm in love.
This book is incredible! It will take almost a year to get through all the recipes and that makes me so excited. I waited to try a bunch of recipes out before writing this. Here’s what you need to you know: This book is gorgeous and very beautifully designed. But it’s not just a pretty face, it has the tasty-wow to back itself up! It’s allergen friendly and gives you tons of options, including vegetarian. Yes, it’s KETO, but it’s also flexible so if you’re not dieting or watching your carbs this book is still amazing. This also means there is nutritional information in the back for every recipe. So you die-hard KETO lovers are covered. I have 2 of Brittany’s other books, and I can tell you that she puts her heart and soul into every recipe. This book lives up to her high standards and goes beyond. In it you’ll find delightful and fresh twists on some traditional favorites from around the world. The down-home recipes and comfort foods are scrumptious. Her attention to detail, knowledge of flavor profiles and umami will delight your taste buds. For some perspective, I am very picky and was raised by a chef, so I’m not easy to please. This book is a must have. You will not be disappointed. Thank you Brittany Angell, you’ve out-done yourself!

Not just keto
I can't seem to put this book down. I love the fact that I can see every photo with the recipes and see the alternatives. Even though this book is keto, it has variations for those who are gluten free, paleo (the diet I am on), vegan etc. When I was diagnosed with graves disease and had to find a new way of eating, I was horrified at my choices of food and the taste. There are few cooks out there that I can truly say create recipes that make food taste good being on a restrictive diet, and Brittany is one of them!! You can truly see a labor of love in this book because it keeps all of those who are struggling with health issues in mind. She could have just developed recipes for herself and get her health in order. But, she thought of others who may not be as creative in the kitchen and that strikes me as a person who thinks of others and put their heart into creating good recipes. So that's why I am giving this book 5 stars because I have tried some of the recipes already and they are excellent and easy to make. I am sure that for those who are not on a keto diet or any diet at all would fall in love with these recipes! :)

A RECIPE FOR EVERY MEAL, EVERY DAY!
I started marking the recipes I plan to try and I got to page70 (out of 490 whopping pages of recipes) and realized I marked almost every page!!!Brittany has recreated several favourites and soon to be favourites.I made the carnitas and my kids couldn’t stop raving about them. The pancakes were fluffy, not heavy. I’ve been dying for a muffin that’s not eggy or heavy, now I have a few to chose from! Next on the list, since summer is here, is the adult bevy section! Seriously, this book has a recipe for every meal, occasion and celebration 🙂 This one won’t be collecting dust on the bookshelf.

Disappointed after eagerly awaiting the release date.
Have been so looking forward to this book – I pre-ordered in December, so gutted that it is a disappointment.First the pros.1/ It has a photo for every recipe – which is a must as far as I am concerned for any cookery book! We eat with our eyes first – I like to see what my food is going to look like.2/ Although it uses the ridiculous American cup system, it also has ingredients in grams (for those of us not intellectually challenged)And now the cons……1/ The nutritional information is all at the back of the book and not included in the recipe – hate this. No need for it as there is plenty of room on the recipe page, rather than having to go hunt for it.2/ No execution time – can I knock this up in 5 mins or 5 hours?3/ I swear the woman uses sugar-free maple syrup in what feels like 90% of her recipes! I have around 30 keto cookery books and there is usually a few recipes that call for this …..but normally only a handful out of the book – not the majority.4/ As a Keto fiend my cupboards have most of the usual flours required – coconut, almond, flaxseed, sesame, oat fibre and psyllium husk – but to make many of the recipes in this book I now have to also buy lupin flour, garbanzo bean flour (chickpea) and cassava flour!5/ Some recipes not really low carb – at 20g per portion that’s hardly keto (I spotted 1 recipe that asked for cane sugar!)The recipes are ok – nothing really jumped out at me and certainly nothing that I haven’t seen before…so to sum up…disappointed and probably would not buy another of Brittany’s books.

Beautiful - but also tasty!
This is just about the most beautifully-photographed book I own, certainly of my cookbooks! The recipes are amazing - so varied, and very delicious from what I've made so far. You will need a lot of different ingredients if you want to try everything, but there is a list on the author's website and there are LOTS of sub suggestions. I bought it for the allergen-friendly aspect; I think that's where the author shines.

Something for everyone
My family has to avoid gluten and dairy. My husband and I eat low carb. I can't eat eggs. My husband loves intensely flavorful foods. My kids love baked goods and treats. This book has something for all of us, and every recipe we've tried so far has been a huge success!
