SexyHair Smooth Anti-Frizz Shampoo with Coconut Oil, Color Safe

I saw on some other reviews that you had to use so much of this shampoo because it doesn't lather. I did find this to be true at first, but I just kept using it, even though the feel was so different - almost like water in my hair that wouldn't lather. This completely changed after a few weeks. After a few weeks I noticed it WAS lathering, and was much easier to shampoo with and work throughout all of my hair. I told this to the stylist who cuts my hair (who suggested I try using this product in the first place because it would be better for my hair). She wasn't surprised at all and told me that was because the most popular shampoo brands have so many ingredients that build up in your hair, that it takes the Healthy Sexy Hair shampoo some time to get all that build up out of your hair. And it did! My hair is now much softer and smoother - both to the look and the touch. I've used other popular brands that I've found in the grocery store that had labels claiming to be a "smooth and sleek" formula, only to have my hair feeling more like straw after using them for a while. I definitely recommend this shampoo. If it doesn't seem to lather much at first, give it time! It's got to gradually remove all that buildup from your hair. BTW, I use this shampoo with Healthy Sexy Hair leave in conditioner, also recommended by my stylist, and it works great!

I have been ordering this shampoo and conditioner through amazon for a long time. I had ordered several bottles at once and when I began using the 1st of 3 shampoos, which are ALL from the same lot number it has been watered down! My hair developed a film and was extremely dry so my hair stylist had to fix my hair and I’m stuck with 2 1/2 bottles of bad shampoo. I’ve bought this shampoo/conditioner and styling products for years from salons but I thought it would be the same if purchased on Amazon but I was very wrong. I know I can’t be refunded and now I have to find another type of hair line to use. I’m so disappointed and angry.

So this shampoo is sulfate/paraben free, which means a couple of things that may not sit well with everyone. I'll start with the good things - most importantly, this product did its job. I have thick, wavy Italian hair and it is definitely less frizzy and smoother after a couple months of using this shampoo. Though I still have my wave, it is less um, unruly? It's less of itself. From what I've read, these paraben/sulfate free products are good for hair you want to be straighter and less frizzy. BUT there is virtually no lather and it takes me forever with this product to wash my hair because it's long and I'm trying to get the shampoo to evenly spread over all of it. Plus you have to use a huge amount to cover all of your hair, this bottle ran out FAST (two months) because it's not like a thick cream shampoo, it's a little more liquid-like I guess? So, yeah. Summary is product worked ok, ran out fast, weird having shampoo with no lather.A lot of people don't like the way this smells. I got used to it. Not my favorite either but i didn't hate it. I don't know what to compare it to really, wish I could help more there.

Have used this shampoo and the same brand conditioner on thick, curly hair for some time. Works well. My only complaint is with the shipping. Arrived with a loose cap and shampoo soaked through the box. How hard can it be to tighten and secure a plastic bottle cap? I'll go back to buying it through a salon.

Having naturally curly hair is great for 18 years.ds, but later in life, with a short cut, curls are a problem. I have used this product once and noticed a great job improvement as soon as it was dry. Next morning I had no birds nest, which sold me. Strait, slightly wet looking and very nourished feeling. It’s worth a try at this price. I found it by web search of best shampoos for straitening curly hair.

I've used this shampoo before, but the bottle I recently received has to be a knock off. It's totally watery and thin, not shampoo. I tried to return it, but Amazon says this item is not returnable. Total waste of money. I guess that's why they say to buy salon products from a licensed salon!

First of all the title is wrong. This is Smooth Extender. Second, smooth extender makes my hair AMAZING. Great lather. Fantastic smell. My hair comes out shiny like someone should be following me around with a fan and a camera. The quality feels expensive.

This shampoo helps to control the friz in my hair, and it is sulfate free. It smells nice too. The conditioner is great too, but has not been available lately.

I had a Brazilian blowdry and it works amazing for it afterwards and really helps it . I love this product its so good

I have Brazilian hair straighter in my hair. This shampoo was recommended to be. I love it. Leaves my hair feeling nice and silky

This shampoo & conditioner contain no plastic like other shampoos and conditioners do. And they are more kinder to your hair.

Ordered as the description said 'salt free' however this is not the case as the ingredients list in the description is incorrect and the product does contain sodium chloride.Not happy at all
