8" (Inch) Impulse Heat Sealer - Cellophane Bag Sealer.

We purchased this and some various candy bags and food-grade plastic tubing to package various handmade chocolates and candies my wife makes for baby showers, christenings, bridal showers, etc.The impulse sealer works great - fast, clean seal on the plastic. We find using it on 1 or between 1 and 2 on the heat setting is sufficient for most thin food packaging. You just plug it in, set the heat setting and tap the plunger down to make a seal across the two sides of a bag etc. It only takes seconds -- very fast to seal when you're doing a few hundred individual items.We've found that chocolate covered pretzels etc. stay fresh and crunchy a lot longer sealed with this as compared to using twist-ties, tape, ribbon, etc.It comes with replacement consumable parts as well, so its bound to last for a long time - its one of the best purchases we've made to package chocolates, pops and candies.I also use it to seal small packs of screws, tool spare parts, etc.

Have used this item for a few days, and it's operating well, as most reviewers agree...No noise, no overheating, no problems so far! The only slight disappointment is that the heated portion ("line") is barely over 1 mm wide, but I just "make" 2 lines - solved! I'll re-comment if anything changes, as I want to use it for years to come. Good product at a good price (after all, it's a very simple concept) - does the job; ie, food saver for freezer/airtight storage.

It looks a little cheap. It works so well. I opened it, plugged it in, it’s instantly hot, and it worked like a champ. I didn’t even have to change the setting for my bags. It cuts itself off after 2-3 seconds of heating, you can hear it, so you can’t mess anything up. It’s awesome. Great purchase for the price. It was delivered pretty quickly as well.

This works good. Takes a bit of experimenting but my wife had it working quickly . She uses this to seal her bath bombs and hasn't had a problem . Take your time and practice on a few bags to get the right heat time and pressure and you will be good to go .👍👍 you can use this for a lot of stuff as long as it is smaller .

Excellent!I'm obsessed with this machine now. Bought this machine with 2 ml 6" poly tubing and they work excellent together.The main purpose of getting them is for packing my food either in fridge or freezer. It's very easy, convenient and space saving. Don't have to put food in glass or plastic container which is space consuming. I also pack my leftover food in the poly tubing and seal it away. Open bags of ingredients or snacks, no problem. I seal them too. Less throwaways and money saved. Love it! :)

This budget sealer is less than half the cost of what you'd find at uline, webstarant and the like. I'd been using my food saver heat seal function and this saves me a LOT of time and faulty seals. Have sealed off about 200 bags so far and estimate that I've saved myself an hour of waiting on the food saver --- Given the simplicity of the machine I don't see it breaking down any time soon, will update review if/when it does, but... paid itself off in a week's time.

So far, this is working very well. I use it with Darice 28-001V 3-Inch-by- 4-3/4-Inch Clear Treat Bag. It seals instantly, but you do have to wait several (about 8) before releasing to make sure it's cooled enough. I've only used it three times. It's sturdy and comes with an extra heat element. The price can't be beat especially if you are looking for a device that you'd only use occasionally.

I use this for sealing up bags of pellet hops for home brewing (lower power setting), as well as for sealing up craft-paper, 2-oz coffee bags (highest setting). This works great in both applications. I have not had problems with it and have sealed up a dozen bags so far. It comes with an extra strip, which is nice, and you can order extras on Amazon, it appears. Once contact is made, you can hear the sealer buzz. When it stops (automatically), lift the lever and remove your sealed bag. I highly recommend this.

The description is totally misleading. This item is not "ready to plug in" as stated in the description. It has a foreign plug (European?) and can't be plugged into a North American wall socket. Even when I used an adapter that I had for another appliance it doesn't work properly. It barely heats up and doesn't seal my shrink wrap bags. Absolute garbage. Sending back immediately.

It takes 3 to 4 times and seal and then the seal opens. I bought the bags that they said I should use it with. ,very disappointed
