I bought one of these to replace a dusk-to-dawn LED unit that had quit working after a number of years (the newer dusk-to-dawn version of this fixture has the light sensor in a new location, so it may not fit your outside fixture -- and I have no idea why the manufacturer changed that, because the original setup was perfect). This is the straight on/off version, no sensor. The description is somewhat misleading -- it does *NOT* come with any bulb at all, although the info would make you think that a 60W bulb is included. Otherwise, it is pretty much like the one I'm replacing. We'll see how it holds up.

I'm NOT handy and I installed this myself. We left the jar fitting off and put a camera bulb inside. It was exactly what we wanted for that and only $8. The jar fitting was very pretty though. We just wanted a camera there and needed a light fixture that pointed downward.

I like the fact that this product is made of metal and glass; it's designed to last.

Easy to install and a great value. Nice that bugs cant get into the light area. Wish they made these in a size up, bit petite.

It makes no sense how these can be such good quality, and still so inexpensive. I don't know how these can get assembled, finished, packaged, and then shipped from (I'm guessing) China, all for about $7 apiece. The finish and quality of these is terrific, and I don't know why they're so much less expensive than other comparable fixtures.We purchased these for a new home we bought that was in need of updating. I had intended these to be a cheap stopgap fix for a few broken fixtures that were on the outside of the home. Once my old house sold, I planned to use part of the equity to buy some "better" fixtures. Well, the joke's on me: these are wonderful, and we like them better than any of the fixtures we found at the big box stores at any price point. I just ordered more to use in the interior of the house!These really are well made, and they look equally good with farmhouse or industrial decor. The jar is thick glass, and the base appears to be stamped steel. I purchased the oil-rubbed bronze finish, and the finish looks great. It's the "good kind" (I don't know how to describe it), and it's not a cheap ring of gold paint painted over black paint, like I've seen on other inexpensive fixtures.Installation was a snap. All the mounting hardware is included, though you'll likely not need most of it if you are replacing an old fixture. The metal mounting bracket for the wall mount versions SWIVEL, which makes it easy to align the fixtures even if your electrical box isn't perfectly level.My only criticism is that the decorative nuts that secure the fixture to the wall were a gunmetal color, and so didn't quite match the oil-rubbed bronze finish. This is hard to notice, and does not look bad in any case. The ceiling mount fixture uses keyhole slots for the mounting bolts, so this isn't an issue with that model.

I bought this to replace an old (20 years) jelly jar lamp. The fittings on the new one made this much easier to assemble, clearly lessons were learned from the previous version/configuration which would have been very fiddly and frustrating to reassemble. Thumbs up for the new design.

Fully enclosed so no bugs in side.Needed to return as different lighting needed, but would purchase again for a different project.

It's pretty flimsy, but it looks nice. Mine was missing a nut and washer when it arrived

For a small light it is extremely bright. Perfect for my location.

I didn't put much thought into choosing an outdoor light so was surprised this one looked so good and works so well. Recommend!
