bad quality assurance
My husband and I go ice fishing a lot and he's been bugging me for one of these for the longest time so I figured I would buy him one for valentines day. Instead of lugging my little to the store I purchase everything on amazon so he can't see what I get and I order so much that he doesn't even care to look anymore. Anyways I attached some photos of why I think it just could have been better. It does what it's supposed to but the measurement numbers are all smudged and the wood is not smooth it looks like someone just rushed it out the door instead of looking to make sure they did a good job. Good fillet board for the price-
There were some potential slivers, but I chipped them out and soaked the board in mineral oil. The hinge is strong and should last a long time. Overall it will be a great fillet board.

Purchased for gift
I purchased this as a gift. It arrived with a scratch on the metal handle but it wasn't that big of a deal. My brother in law seemed to like it.

riveted on clip to deter swapping out the board when it wears out. easily replaced. basic item.
