I never received the order from Amazon but was refunded hassle free. Meantime, while waiting for the order I needed these badly having my truck in pieces and so ordered from a popular Auto site. My leak is a stubborn water outlet pipe on a Nissan Frontier that started at 60,000 miles with two more disassembles and hose/clamps changes for continued leakage around the hose. With bad leak continuing, I now had about 90K miles and a badly over tightened deteriorated hose. The outlet pipe is true, yet leaks continued. It's been a nightmare really and research led me try these clamps.Despite careful deliberation of sizing and deciding to simply go with nominal diameters listed for the pipe measured, they were very..and I mean very tight and difficult to slide on...could barely get them over the waist. Took careful pushing with edges of screwdrivers, slicing my finger open along the way and in the end inserting a couple nails as shims in each clamp, then leaving them in place couple days to stretch. This it must have done because it did with more moderate coaxing, finally move sufficiently into place. Luckily did not tear. I was never sure they were properly in place as the location was very confined and the feel wasn't definitive as the clamps are fairly stiff plastic. I used a heat gun and shrinkage seemed inadequate and slow to form but finally decided it was probably enough. There was never a distinct conformity to the pipe as you'd see in heat shrink tubing but there was some.And of course my coolant leaks continue BUT...seems it's not from these pipes anymore but additionally a water pump that has lasted less than 30K miles changed when the leaks first began. So it seems these clamps work. Oh also I used some permatex under the hose. So 4 stars for function in the end. I'm not sure how to advise sizing. Would the next (significantly) larger size clamp shrink enough? I think that would be a good 1/4" larger which would be a lot of shrinkage.. If so, definitely need to order one size larger. But despite the installation difficulty, they sealed my nightmare away. A hose that is more accessible should be a far less problematic installation.

The new generation of hose clamps. These things freaking work. However, you will need the removal tool if you want to cut it off without screwing up the hose underneath.

Worked perfectly to stop a persistent leak. Easy install. A little paint thinner will remove the part number markings.

I absolutely love these hose clamps. They hold tight and create a leak free seal. Unlike worm drive clamps they never need to be re-tensioned. As an added bonus they have a very tidy appearance when installed.

Replace all my clamps with power grips.. they are doing the job with no issues
