I've had the aforementioned printer for a while and up until recently used it for 3D printing. I decided to remove the printer head assembly and install the laser module, which I did...Only to find that I really didn't have any material to try burning except for notebook paper.The laser module is only a 500mW unit, so while it scores very nicely it flat out can't cut this wood.But I've enjoyed experimenting with image conversion settings on the software, and having a stable work piece to try burning images on. A note to my fellow tinkerers that usually don't work with wood:This stuff is wrapped and sealed with dissicant packs for a reason. If you take the pieces out and leave them in the open they'll absorb moisture and warp. The moisture being evaporated by heat from a laser or other heated tool will stain the wood in a way you may not like.I'm not angry about this, primarily because it's my fault for not keeping the wood pieces dry, and secondly, I'm just toying with a laser. But I feel this wood is nice enough for crafted products, so if you want this wood to look it's best, keep it dry until you process it.

I use these for my daily painting. Painting small on these boards is great and I prefer these to canvas board. I simply apply a coat of gesso and they are ready to go

These are all pretty good. There are a few small dark spots on one side. Looks like residual burnarks from the laser. Other than that they work for what I wanted them for, which was wood burning practice. They ate fine grained and clear with no knotst. They all measure exactly 4". All in all a good product at a fairly reasonable price.

Wooden boards were delivered marked with round indentations on the surface of 2 boards. Another board had a peeled off section on the outer surface. The other boards were okay. I decided to return the items since they were damaged and got credit for it right away.

Absolutely great for what I needed it for. Lightweight but sturdy. Will order more.

These wood pieces are perfect for crafts! I do miniatures so don’t need large pieces! Would definitely order again!

My dad uses it for wood-crafting.
