The Rocky 9" BearClaw boots are great for hunting, but you may want to work in them, too. Regardless of where you wear them, the #FQ0009237 boots are durable, rugged and comfortable. These Rocky boots are made with full-grain leather and tough nylon. They have genuine Goodyear® welt construction and a storm welt for durability, shape-retention and a solid platform for hours of wear. A breathable GORE-TEX® fabric membrane keeps moisture out and keeps your feet dry. Rocky added 200 grams of 3M™ Thinsulate™ Insulation to the hunting boots to help keep your feet warm even on the coldest days. The lace-up system is a lace-to-toe pattern with eyelets, D-rings and hooks for maximum adjustment. When you're walking, your feet are comfortable because of Rocky's exclusive polyurethane cushioned Air-Port™ footbed which also is perforated for air circulation. And, of course, Rocky's own BearClaw 3D outsole has a multi-directional, self-cleaning lug design that grabs the ground to be able to give you traction wherever you walk. For waterproof, insulated boots with great traction, get the Rocky BearClaw. Related Links: - All Waterproof Boots - All Insulated Boots - All Outdoor Boots

Warm, waterproof and excellent tread
I got these for a weekend camping trip, and man, was I glad I finally got them! I hate it when my feet are cold, it's an old pet peeve left over from my days a Leatherneck grunt, but these boots were the perfect remedy. Not once in three days camping in weather ranging from the upper 50's down to the mid 20's did I grumble about "Cold (insert expletive) feet ..." Rocky has long been a solid brand and these boots only reinforce that reputation. I would definitely recommend a pair for your favorite "outdoors" person. Definitely getting some for my ol' man for Christmas!

I like them ....Alot !!!
Most comfortable boots I've ever had the pleasure to walk in . I bought the 1000 mil. Thinsulate boots because I needed a new pair for winter and I liked them so much I bought another pair with just 200 mil. Of thinsulate to wear year round. I was a die hard red wing fan but my dad ( may he rest in peace ) told me about a pair of rockies he had and I tried them and I'm glad I did . I recomend rockie boots to any who needs a comfortable quality built pair of boots. Thanks for the high quality hard work the people at rockie perform . Have merry Xmas and a happy new year.Robert West.

Love these boots!
Love these boots! This is my second pair. My first started as hunting boots, however ended up being so comfortable in the field I used them for work. This pair just got me through hunting season in Montana. 50+ miles through standing water, snow, side-hilling, and shale...no issues, great traction, most important DRY feet!I wear a size 11 and tend towards a wide, bought the 11M. Started out snug but not uncomfortable, anyone whose put in a day side-hilling know foot movement inside the boot will end a trip real quick. They ended up breaking in super fast and molded to my foot with no hotspots or blisters right out of the box. I put a rubber rhino-liner style boot protector on the toes and heels to protect the leather. This is why my first pair lasted hundreds of miles of tough use! Buy these boots you won’t be disappointed!

the best boot on the market but amazon sucks
I have owned at least 8 pairs of the Rocky Men's Bearclaw 3D LTT Hunting Boot and they have been the most comfortable, waterproof boot that I have ever owned, and I have tried a lot of different brands. I love them. Amazon sucks

Love the boots
I am writing this review and giving it four stars only because the description on Amazon really was tough to figure out that they had 200 grams of Thinsulate. The boot does have 200 grams. I wish it was more at the 400 or 600 gram range but then you run into problems with a boot becoming more stiff and heavier. The the boot itself is really a joy to wear. Actually I'm looking for excuses to put them on and go outside because they are so comfortable and fit me perfectly. I have received a number of boots through the mail and these I actually tried to order in a size 12 EE. They were little bit tighter than I wanted so Amazon quickly took them back and gave me the 13 EE which fit me great. It gives me a little bit extra room for insulated socks. The leather is so soft and comfortable that you forget that they are on. This is what I expect in a boot. No break-in needed. The lasing is quick and snug and as you release the quick lace holders, the boot easily slips on and off your feet without having to pull or tug at all. I am very much impressed with these boots and would rate them higher than 4 stars except for the fact that you really can't find out in the description how much thinsulate that they actually have and the exchange I had to make for fit. I think 200 grams will be okay if I use some insulated socks this winter but the nice thing is I don't have to use it in the summer and can still wear the boots so perhaps that's a plus. Overall very satisfied with these boots and I would recommend them highly.

Military TOUGH and stylish... these are the ones you want!
What an AMAZING boot. Having worn Rockies in the military, I set out to buy a pair S2Vs which I planned on wearing for hiking and outdoor work. I had explanations ready as to why I was wearing combat boots. Then I saw these. Leather. Look great... almost formal. I gave them a try. So glad I did. These are my favorite boots ever!!!! For military folks, you will feel right at home in these... like an old friend. They are amazingly light and incredibly tough. The traction is as good as I had hoped... the picture gives you the impression that you could walk up a cliff and you darn near can. I recently made a muddy, snowy hike in the Smokies and really gave them a workout. Yes, they were aw some to hike in! Here's the thing though, when I got back, I hosed them off, put on a litttle brown shoe polish and gave them a quick brush. Thanks to the leather, they look brand new again. Hard to wear anything else lately!
