LaRouche Was Not What You Thought He Was-Must Read For Students of Contemporary History
Must read for people interested in the CIA and Intelligence issues in the 1970's and 1980's. If you like reading about the history of the 1960's and the Cold War, this book fills in huge gaps in the historical record which followed the 1960's. Unique and Valuable. Also, Larouche was not what you would have thought, having lived through that period.

True To Life
A bit heavy-handed at times, and more than a tad biased, Dennis King has still managed to patch together the only factual history of the LaRouche organization. My only real complaint is that it has not been reissued with updated information, carrying the story of this politico-cult to it's current status as some kind of latter-day Hole In The Wall Gang in suburban Washington DC.

Well Researched and Entertaining
As I read this book, my respect for the NCLC only increased as it's history was revealed. Most of the available (online) literature about NCLC focuses on the psychological-cult aspects, which makes them easy to dismiss and misses the point. As King points out, this attitude overlooks the intelligence gathering and peddling, fundraising, back-channeling, and shock troop value of it's cadres having political influence. Rarely is this illustrated, as it was here.LaRouche's story seemed like that of a master-spy, or an untouchable political chameleon. As it went on, I found myself rooting for LaRouche.Kings accusation of NCLC being Nazis and anti-semites ring hollow: a great number of them are Jews. If we believe King, then Jews are the leaders of anti-semitic organizations! Makes no sense.

Complete misrepresentation of LaRouche
Do yourself a favor and listen to what LaRouche had to say. It is more relevant today than ever before. LaRouche was railroaded by the elites because he was pulling the curtain back on their dastardly deeds. Everything he said is coming to life right before our eyes, unfortunately. I don’t know what agenda King had, could be his own political career in Canada today, but he’s doing what he does, spinning a yarn...don’t believe it!

Great expose on LaRouch by the expert Dennis King. Highly recommend!
This is the first and most thorough expose of LaRouche by the investigative reporter who has tracked him for years....Dennis King. King had HORRIBLE problems getting this publish and after it was published the publisher simply ignored it. Great important book. Read it.

The Hypothesis of the Higher Hypothesis.
This book is full of the worst kind of nonsense. Lyndon LaRouche is portrayed as a comic book archvillain with a megalomaniacal desire for world domination. Read about how LaRouche plays both sides of virtually every issue, using dirty underhanded tactics, smear campaigns, and illegal fund raising methods, to get his way. LaRouche is painted as a type of cult leader wielding absolute authority over a group of his zombified henchmen. Basing his philosophy on an amalgam of German idealism (Leibniz, Kant, Hegel), Karl Marx, Plato's _Republic_, neoNazi antiSemitism, and his own homebrewed concocted conspiracy theory (viz. the Queen of England deals drugs)LaRouche's delusions appear to know of no bounds. The book details his involvement with the intelligence community (CIA, KGB), the Teamsters union, the KKK, Manuel Noriega, and other shady organizations. LaRouche's politics swung violently from Left to Right, typical of such fascist dictators as Mussolini. There are some interesting discussions of Plato's philosophy and education system, nuclear arms proliferation, nuclear fusion, the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI), and LaRouche's crank economics theories. Throw into the pot racist doctrines, and antiSemitic (antiZionist) rhetoric. LaRouche certainly defies classification. All in all an interesting, and amusing book, about one of the most eccentric (and evil) of fringe political figures.
