Awesome book
This is a great instruction book on slow speed maneuvering. It shows the techniques and drills to practice. Can’t wait to take a live, in person class!

Excellent. It truly deliversm
Awesome book. For those who truly want to learn how to ride professionally and safely. Excellent. I still recommend a Motorcycle Safety Course. The BEST money I ever spent. Also the most fun I have had since I can remember. Buy the book or get the DVD.

Good book.
Good book, especially for beginners, but all can learn something. Course set up instructions/diagrams are very helpful.

I highly recommend this book...
I became a bike rider again at the age of 54 at the urging of my wife who knew I missed owning and riding a bike. Knowing tha at my age, my bones don't bounce the way they used to when I was in my teens and early 20's, so I decided to do everything possible to become a safe and concientious rider. First I took a Rider Safety Course from Awesome Cycles here in Houston, TX. Secondly, I purchased a couple of books on being a safe rider. Of course, you can't be a safe rider simply by reading a book...you have to practice the lessons in the book and be consistent in your actions when riding. I have to say that among the first three books I bought, Motorman" Palladino 's is probably my favorite, and that's because of the DVD. He goes through things step-by-step to make them understandable to someone learning from a distance, and not directly with the instructor at one of his own courses. At one point on the DVD, he has his wife, who has had serious surgery, performing tight manuevers on the big bike. She does it flawlessly. The point being, if a person of such small stature, who's had back surgery, can do this, you certainly can too. Buy the book, buy the DVD...and pratice what's in the pages. I still go to a parking lot twice a month to set up my own course...just to practice with great focus.

Big help when teaching someone
This book is awesome because it gives you a nice structure how to teach someone the low speed maneuvering skills they need. The most important thing to remember is no to go to the next exercise until you ace the current one.

as Jerry says, "Master these and you'll be in the top 5% of motorcycle riders"
Exactly as Jerry says, "Master these and you'll be in the top 5% of motorcycle riders". I plan to run through these drills at the start of every riding season in NJ. There are many unpredictable elements when riding, your riding skills should not be one of them
