Not sure why "night vision" is on the review list since this is a piece of plastic and wire.It was easy to install and set up. I feel the wire is not exactly theft proof, but it will definatly save a camera from being blown off in the wind (when using the magnet mounts that come with the camera). I also had an issue with the wire when attaching it to the mounting base for the cameras (specifically the magnet one) due to it not laying flat, the base had a hard time sliding and locking into place and ended up screwing the wire into the house with a separate screw (that was not provided)

This housing for the Arlo Ultra camera system is a great way to protect your investment and prevent damage from accidents drops. The manufacturer uses a security torx bit to attach the housing to the camera and provides the appropriate tool to do so. These tools are hard to come by and expensive, so make sure you don’t loose the tool! The design of the housing only allows access to either the camera release button or the charging pins at one time, so you will need the tool if you decide you want to change how your are powering the camera.

It would be even easier to install if the star wrench provided would be on a handle, like a screwdriver. Thx.

I'm glad that I bought the 25' recharging cable because it looks like the stock Arlo one won't fit with these covers installed.

I liked how easy it was to install the security covers and I was still able to fit the charging cord for the solar panel for the ultra cameras. I wanted something to keep the camera from falling to the ground/being stolen and so far they have done the trick.

It does fit well and secure the Arlo really good. So good in fact that the charger is covered. I will have to use a tool to push the button which means i need another battery and charger. It would've been better if that was clearly disclosed in the description.

I have insert my comments on both picture. Image 1 is showing the nut that come with the 2 Pack Security Case and I need a unique wrench or tool to unlock it, which is a great protection. However, it only lock on one side only. Image 2 is showing that I am using the original nut that came with the camera. I can easily remove the nut using regular screw driver. Once I do that, I could easily steal the entire camera together with the security case. This product is missing another unique screw that we can use to lock on the mounting bracket. Therefore, his security case is not useful at all.

This cover is not theft proof but it would certainly slow down a would be thief and allow time for the thief to be captured on video! Also, be aware that the magnetic connector on the Arlo cable is not compatible with this product. For convenience, it’s best to plan on also using the Wasserstein cable connected permanently. The Wasserstein cables are much cheaper than the Arlo cables anyway.

the theftproof mount was very easy to install and fit like a glove to the Arlo camera.

Votre caméra vaut largement le prix de cet accessoire indispensable .Une intégration parfaite rende votre caméra plus difficile à voler (pas impossible pour quelqu’un de déterminé).Laissant un accès pour le câble de charge (attention pas celui d’origine car fiche trop longue) version fiche courte vendue sur Amazon en 6m pour ne pas devoir tout démonté à chaque fois.Je recommande ce vendeur.
