Great Info, Little or No Editiing, too much "Afro-centric Bias
Great book and chock-full of very valuable information. However, the author has tainted the otherwise excellent quality by an obvious lack of editing (proof reading, grammar check, etc.) as well as too often trying to impose his own Afro-centric biases into the scenes. He writes like a man with a grouse and something to prove, rather than something to present. I very much look forward to a revised version of this book. With great reluctance, I give it only 3 Stars.

Keith Moore delivers a well of information. Definitely worth the read.
The topics of Freemasonry, Greek Philosophy and the African Connection are presented in a chronological sequence that captures the readers attention and documents much researched content. My only dismay was discovering editing errors towards the ending chapters which made the interpretation a bit more time consuming. Overall a great historical resource on European plagerisms.

It's Aaaaah-aight...
The author has some deep thoughts and a lot of true accounts in this book, it does at times come across as bias because he always tries to spin a subject into a black race in ancient Africa issue and often gives hisown views where he thinks Freemasonry was cultivated (Egypt) without any real proof except for vague dates andhis own doctrine. So other than the black nationalist under tones and some now and then made up historic accounts,I give him 3 stars cause he put a lot into his writings and his thoughts are refreshing.

Informative
Mr. Moore provides an outstanding exposition on the history, nature, and origin of Prince Hall Masonry. He demonstrates with scrupulous detail the ancient African/Egyptian roots of the crafts. Mr. Moore has done his research and this book clearly show that! I must read for new workers of the craft. The pictures and illustrations are outstanding!!! One point of criticism; however, Mr. Moore please consider revising and correcting the many typos, misspellings, and grammatical errors.

masonic 'science' could use an editor...
There is some good and interesting information in this book...if you're into this sort of thing. The problem is, it doesn't seem like there was any editing done before publication. Now while I appreciate the data...history, semiotics, esoterica, etc., it would sure wise to get a good editor if you plan to reissue this book.
