For bolt action, GREAT way to get started in reloading
For bolt action rifles, this is GREAT way to get started in reloading. First photo shows value of hand loads, these were done using this exact item. DO NOT use my loading data from targets. Follow ONLY published loading manual and/or card that comes in the kit. Lots of videos online about how to use this die set. Watch several, and watch multiple times. Minimum req'd to start: this item, plus loading manual, soft mallet (6 oz), calipers, & components. That will work as long as your brass is in spec. Slight upgrade? Get all of above, plus beam scale, powder trickler, case conditioning kit, and case gauge/holder. I loaded these with powder measured on beam scale. Loading manual is train/educate you how to do this safely and warning, critical measurements, etc. Beam scale and powder trickler allow you to be VERY precise with powder. Case conditioning kit, gauge/holder are in the event your brass needs to be trimmed.I loaded 20 rounds in a little over an hour. I checked, rechecked, and checked again. You cannot be too cautious. Read and reread your loading manual, all cautions and warnings, and use ONLY loading data from published sources (i.e. NOT what I may have noted on my targets for records only).

great for field reloads
first let me say this, THESE TOOLS ARE DANGEROUS. not they don't work, they do. its very easy to have a primer detonation if you move too fast and don't pay attention to what you're doing. so keep your powder away when priming.pros- small, lightweight, can reload damn near anywhere you want. great for a bugout bag or while hiking.cons- its dangerous and some of the loads are outdated and vague. all of these kits should tell you which loads are for cast bullets. this one doesn't, unless the 180 gr solid bullet is for cast. this data says to use .308 projectiles when this round is actually supposed to be .311. I'm assuming that people who get this, get it to load for a mosin. most Russian mosins slug out to .314 while the fin mosins may be able to get away with .310.this isn't my only kit. I also have one for .45 colt, and .357mag/.38 spc. I don't use them much, I got them to stuff in my bug out kit...also, this kit didn't come with the capping rod. it was missing

Works like a CHAMP.
Neck sizes beautifully & loads ammunition that goes bang. I wouldn't use it to prime cases {invest in a cheap hand primer or ALWAYS wear hearing protection when priming with the Lee Loader because they do sometimes detonate when you're hammering them in), and I've doubts about .311 or .312 projectiles going through the powder & seating hole (because .310 was snug), but (should I desire) I anticipate no real problems in getting the loader to seat the larger diameter bullets with a bit of fiddling.

Love this version - I'm now part of the family ...
Love this version - I'm now part of the family again, when I'm reloading, rather than off in my reloading room. Family even participates by measuring powder, measuring case length, and overall seated case and projectile length and other tasks. Not to mention they now want to participate more in recording ballistic performance and compare results to expected results.

its lee great product simple to use
It's a Lee I mean it's going to work. And if you have an issue they have an answer. It's very simple. It's very cheap. If you're looking for long-range Precision loading probably not for you. If you're looking to it for a great answer for reloading hunting ammunition and reaching out to maybe three four hundred yards this is going to work just perfect

Nothing beats loading your own ammo
It might take more time, it might require a little more effort, but there is nothing like hand loading your own ammo. This little kit from Lee is the perfect way to start the venture into reloading. It's been around forever, works like a champ, and couldn't be easier to use. I am starting to see tighter and tighter groups the more I reload, you will too.

Excellent tool for specialized ammunition.
Bought this tool for making hunting rounds in the field. Although this rifle can shoot more than 200 yards I wanted to have specialized round that will print tight groups at approximately 200 yards with a 168 grain bullet. This tool allows me to make the necessary adjustments for that goal.

Awesome
I got this used for 18 dollars and it was in perfect condition. Works great! Have already made 100 rounds with it without issue.
