Great Product
I use these for my Conn alto saxophone; they work great. My favorite reed, they play well and I like how flexible they are.

Amazing reeds, great quality!
As a middle school student who had been playing the alto saxophone for 4 years. I am prone to say that these are my favorite reeds! And the price isnβt too shabby!

Great reed at a great price
For this purchase, I was just looking to revisit this reed since I've been switching between Vandoren green and red box for the last 10yrs. These reeds worked really well on the Select Jazz alto mouth piece. Very nice and warm sound. I was able to work my way up and down the registers evenly in timbre and projection. After all ths time, I still find my way back to Rico (D'addario) Royals. What's great is they now come in these smaller packs, albeit slightly more expensive per reed this way. It's more convenient to either try out this cut or try out different sizes to see if you need to move up/down.

Well made, durable & sound good.
These reeds are made well and they are individually cased. The cases are nicely structured and secure. These hold up well and sound very good. We often try other brands as skill grows but we always come back to these based on tone, playability, durability and overall value. They are comfortable, reliable and consistent. I recommend these for sure.

Easy, comfortable, good price
My son needed it for band. It had been awhile since we replaced his other one(oops!). He said it made such a difference when he put the new one in. It was easy for him to switch out and fit perfectly.

Good quality reeds, my go to
I used Royals on tenor for several years and am now using them for alto. I like the value of the reeds, I prefer them over Vandoreen standard blue boxes. I've never had any issues with reeds coming out of the box unplayable. 2.5 is my preffered strength, it gives a good mix of easy playability and good sound quality. D'Addario has a good rewards program too, enter the code on the inside of the box for points that can be redeemed for products, I've gotten a nice free reed case this way.
