I have installed this in my backyard, where I can’t run wires. I have two dogs and I needed some lighting for them at night when they go out in the backyard to do their business. The motion detection is so sensitive and that’s what I love about it and this solar light gives out a very very bright light. My neighbor in the back of my house is asking me where I get it from. I love it and my dogs even is not scared to come out at night.

I got few of this lights, they are super convenient to have around the house, on the outside of course, unless you have tons of sun coming inside.I got this longer ones, the more square ones and the ones that shape like diamonds!I am so happy for such a great item, it really brings light to all those dark places around the house and there is not need to get an electrician , all I need is two screws that come in the box and a power screw driver.These are great to place on the fence! a wooden fence will be better than a plastic one to screw it to it.It has motion detection and the light is super bright, it really brings light to a dark back yard! Super easy to install, 2 screws are needed2. Very customizable, the light has 3 modes. I have mines set to where they are dim light at night all the time,then turn on full power when motion is detected.3. These are very bright, I installed one on the side of the house next to my security camera, this helps with night vision

I purchased a set, installed them and gave it a couple of good sunny days for a full charge. One of the two works great, the other one only flashes, it appears to be defective. It has three settings, off no light, setting 2 comes on upon picking up motion, setting 3 light comes on at dusk dimmed down, as it picks up motion it gets brighter, setting 4 it comes on dimmed and stays dimmed whether or not it picks up motion. These lights has nice features and settings but when I reached out to the seller regarding the defective one, he has not answered me. It appears that seller does not stand by his product. It's only been a month since purchased so the return window is out. These were not cheap at 43.00 dollars. Will not purchase again from this seller.Update :12/2019After several days, the seller finally reached out to me requesting a pucture of the product and that he would replace it for a new one. Well, several days went by and heard nothing back. Reach out to seller again and he said he was waiting for my address as he previously asked for. I told him i had sent it along with the first request. I gave it to him again. Several days went by and i finally received the new replacement lamp. So i up two additional stars. Seller simply needs to respond quicker so the buyer doesnt think that seller is not standing by his product. Every single email to him resulted in delayed responses but he came through.

False information given on settings so beware. There are two levels of brightness listed...dim and medium. When on motion setting, this light is very bright with good coverage. However, while on the static setting (always on) the light is so dim it's virtually useless. This conflicts with product information given. I purchased this because I wanted useful solar backup lighting for camping trips. The only work around is to set it on motion activation, and wave your arms when it defaults to off or dim.

This light is just what I was looking for. It has three options of low, medium and high for brightness. Motion detector works well. Easy to hang anywhere you need extra light outdoors. I would purchase again.

I have purchased lights almost exactly like these in the past but these are by far better. It detects motion a lot farther away than other brands. Also the nice thing is you can adjust the different light settings on the front ( most other brands have a switch in the back) . There is a little button you press and it toggles through the 3 settings and there is a little light that lets you know which number it is set to so if you have these mounted it is easy to change without removing them.

I put these up in the backyard to light up an area that our motion floodcam does not reach. They will help out with security in an area that can be quite dark at night. An inexpensive way to let people know that they can be seen and watched.
