OtterBox Defender Series SCREENLESS Case Case for Samsung Galaxy A50 - Retail Packaging - Black

It lasted 2 years and 1 month of use. Two or three falls, constant use for the most part. For the price I paid, I expected it to last a bit longer. It had been falling apart already by the middle of the 2nd year (charging port area of the case broke off and I would often find little shedding pieces of the case on my fingers after using the phone). Today, the power button on the case just... fell off. This isn't a cheap case so I thought it would last a good time. I had a cheap case for my old phone that lasted its entire life (and I still have it in one of my drawers, it's still not broken) until I switched to a newer phone. I give it three stars because it did protect the phone the two or three times it did fall in the two years and the grip of the material saved it from falling a couple of times more.

a few people said that this will not fit their samsung galaxy a50 phones. i actually opened this page to make a complaint about that. LOL. but i figured out that you must take the soft shell off first and disassemble it completely. this case has a total of FOUR pieces, not two like reflected in the picture!!! the outer hard shell that has the clip attached to it, the inner soft shell, and the inner hard shell that can be pried apart into a front and back piece.flip the inner hard shell over to view the back of it...if you look on the sides and the corners then you will see that there are inscribed arrows showing you where to gently pull it apart! once you do that, you will be able to place your phone inside and snap everything back into place layer by layer. if you try to squeeze your phone in without removing the soft shell and prying the hard shell underneath apart, then it definitely will not fit and may break.i would post a high quality picture of the process but that's kind of the job of the manufacturer or seller, and my phone is broken. if at first you don't succeed then try, try again!will update the review when i get a phone that actually works and can take better pictures step by step...my current phone is broken and currently on backorder, but that could have been avoided had i gotten an otterbox to begin with. tried it on my old phone and it fit great. :(

As a mother of 2 rough and tough toddlers who love to play with my phone any chance they get I knew I'd need a durable case! While it does make the phone heavier and obviously more bulky it has been a lifesaver! My toddlers are very accident prone, so I have gone through a number of replacement phones that I have bought cases for in the past but this time around I made the choice to buy an otterbox and I do not regret it one bit! My phone has hit the tile in my home, fallen out of my truck onto the concrete pavement and even the road, screen down, on its side and even on the corners and this case has protected my device 100%! The belt clip doubles as a kick stand which has come in handy a time or 2. Overall the best case I've ever owned! The only con I have is that it didnt come with a screen protector but I ordered the glass protector separate from a different company so it still worked out! I would not hesitate to order this case again but based on everything it's already gone through I don't think I would need to! I'm very satisfied with my purchase.

I am in the construction industry, I use the Defender series, it's tough, has excellent protection, and fits my phone perfectly. I see the off brands are cheaper but I scroll right on by, with the prices on phones these days why mess around? Add in a screen shield of your choice and BAM! you are good to go!

I have trouble opening drawers and cabinets without pulls/handles, and for years have had black plastic round knobs on them. Wanted something nicer/more expensive looking, and the thought of standing in a coronavirus-infested 50-person long line at a box store made me look to Amazon. Purchased a box of 25 and they arrived before I had time to get back to the project!Very happy with the quality, and even more so that 2 lengths of screws were included with each packaged. I needed the shorter ones for the doors and the longer screws for the drawers. Easy to install, very easy to grip.And OOPS - I needed 26 knobs. The smallest quantity Amazon shows is a package of 5, but they are "unavailable and don't know when they will be back in stock."If anyone at Homdiy is reading this, please post to the Q&A - I just need to purchase one more knob! Gamsung Galaxy 50 was known for being less impact resistant, so this the best protection with two sides and very rigid plastic.

Its a great case but coming over from a much slimmer case to this was a challenge its strong and very heavy duty, have no doubt it will protect my phone from drops, but at the same time its uncomfortable to use daily because of the bulky aspect of it

As with other reviewers, I ordered the one with the screen protector and was shipped one without. I paid more and was given the less valuable product. And, while the return process is a breeze, there is no direct way for me to tell the seller to give me the product that I ordered. Though, that should go without saying. Nonetheless, I owned one of these cases before and it saved my phone when it fell 23 feet from a Skyjack to a concrete floor. It landed face down and didn't even crack the screen protector. So, I am sold on their efficacy, just not on the sellers efficiency. Still, it is a great product.

This was for my GFs phone, she had it on a stroller from which it fell to the street. Several cars ran over it until a good Samaritan picked it up. I later called and met him to get phone. It did not have a scratch on it and phone was fine. This case was to replace old one which had done its duty. $50 compared to a thousand dollar phone. Good investment.

First time Otter Box purchase and am not disappointed. It is so worth the higher price than the cheaper made items. This case is so sturdy I feel it will protect my phone from any drop. I will definitely buy from Otter again.

Fit's perfect to my Samsung a 50.Nice sturdy case.The only thing that I was not impressed was the delivery. Intelcom Express driver left the box in a public place.

Add said screen protector but when I recieved it it was a screen less case. Was disappointed.
