The Best of Both Worlds
I adore Looney Labs "Chrononauts" and at first glance thought this to be more or less a skin. As a die hard Star Trek fan, that was still more than enough for me to pick it up. When I read the rules, read the cards, and began to play I found it was so much more. While it retains some core mechanics of Chrononauts there are enough new mechanics, twists, and unique features which make it feel like a fresh experience even for someone who has played Chrononauts for many many years. Every inch of the game demonstrates a deep deep love of Star Trek lore and canon. So many little things had me grinning me grinning and yet my girlfriend who only has a general familiarity with the franchise still loved it.With just two people, the game moves pretty quick to start off so I'd recommend folks more familiar with the mechanics still to the more difficult ID or even make a house rule to needing to win 2 of them.

Game and Star Trek timeline history in one
We love Star Trek in this house and not only was the gameplay enjoyable but we spent a lot of time just studying the timeline. We have original Chrononauts and Back to the Future Chrononauts but this one was the most detailed and most complicated. It's a standalone game so you don't need to have played the original to play this one. Very fun game that will make it to the table a lot in our house!

You can play as Q. 10/10
Started a game as the Dominion, with one of my three goals being to break the timeline and ensure that the Federation was subsumed by the Dominion at Deep Space Nine.Instead, I ended up winning the game as Q, because Picard failed to understand the paradox at the heart of the Devron Anomaly from the finale of TNG.10 out of freaking 10.

Fun twist on game
Fun twist on the Chrononauts game. Do recommend playing with 4 players or so, 2 player games can be quite short and the more players involved makes some of the strategy calls more interesting.

A Welcome Gift
This was a gift from the recipient's Wish List, so it was just what she wanted. I don't know whether this game has been played yet, but I expect it will be enjoyed.

A must-play for Star Trek fans
As a fan of the Star Trek franchise this game was packed to the brim with references to fondly remembered storylines. The game plays much like a Star Trek style episode in that the setting involves the corruption of the timeline by nefarious elements and the goal is for the players to repair it according to their personal goal cards. The conflicting goals are what bring the tension to the table but it's the Star Trek universe references that will keep a group of Trekkies smiling from ear to ear.
