i bought this because i needed an accurate way to measure the fork oil after rebuilding the shocks on my bike. it did the job just fine.

Easy to use and clean in

On one side oz/qt and on the left side is liters measured in factions. Weird. 500 ml may be 1/2 liter but I do not think in factions when using metric measurements. Hey, it will work, but it is strange to me.

This is a great polypropylene measuring cup. Being that it is made of this type of plastic means that it's chemically resistant. I used to use a cheap plastic "dollar store Betty Crocker" measuring cup but quickly found that it was NOT resistant to chemicals such as stabilized unleaded gasoline nor concentrated weed killer. Basically the chemicals in these compounds softened the clear plastic and made it cloudy. This made it harder to get an accurate measure. Also, I don't like the idea that what I measure in that cup has trace plastic compound mixed in because of the softening.With this chemically resistant measuring cup I can confidently measure liquids without fear that they are contaminated by compounds leaching from the cup. As for the cheap dollar store cup... it went in the trash the day that this cup arrived.

5 stars on sturdiness, durability and easy to read. I leave this in my boat because I add additives to my fuel every time and I just pull it out at the gas station and use. It very easy to read and easy to pour into the gas tanks.

After 6 months, there is still glue from the label, even after trying to remove it with rubbing alcohol. Infuriating. Makes the jug permanently sticky.
