The See.Sense ACE bike light was Kickstarted to life by 4,000 cyclists who wanted to make their rides brighter, safer and more connected. It’s been developed by cyclists, for cyclists, combines five years of R&D, and is ideal for those commuting to work. Check out what what Popular Mechanics said about us in their 2020 Outdoor Awards.

A Big Disappointment
Regardless of the number of fancy functions your light may have, the main goal is to ensure you're seen by motorists. I looked forward with anticipation to use the See. Sense ACE but was sorely disappointed. Yes, some very cool features, however, in daylight hours, it is difficult to see the rear light 50 meters away. The front was a little better but not much. The light I owned previously which burned out after 10 years could been seen in daylight a distance of 2 km. I will unfortunately be returning this product.

They fail after a few months
I have had a total of 6 ACE units (front and rear) fail on me after just a few months of day time use, 2 to 3 times a week. I have volunteered to return these units so they can identify the problem (most probably the battery) but they have not accepted. They have so far replaced only one of the failed units and their customer support is not even responding to my most recent emails. If the light does not work the flimsy mounts and terrible software do not even matter. My most recent failed units are: Front N105226 and Rear C111811

Refurbed lights are junk :(
Refurbished lights were DOA. Avoid refurbed lights!I love see sense lights however in general they are delicate. And they don’t refurb very well

A little expensive but a good quality product.
Very easy to use and bright enough for everyone to see us. Recommended.

Great set of lights, BUT ...
I backed these on the crowd-funding offer. Loved them both. They are extremely bright and add to my visibility. I ride every night and also in the dark early morning. The red tail light is super. I can barely look at it flashing when I turn it on. I recommend them. Last, but not least, the front light attaches easily to your handlebars, so when you need to remove it for charging - no problem. However, having owned them for about a year, I must confess that the rear light is problematic. I have it fixed to clip on the back of my jersey. Unfortunately, when I clip it back there, it often falls on the ground. The outside plastic has cracked and come apart. I fear that it was not built very strongly, or with not such strong materials. Seems a bike light should be to fall without breaking. Very disappointing for the price.

Great Concept - Crap execution
The design is great, WHEN they work (which is not for long) you have a great cycling light. Unfortunately my experience parallels those of others who have reported problems with firmware/software.As a software/firmware engineer with 35 years of experience, I must say I am baffled that a product whose primary task is to read a button switch and flash an array LEDs has software/firmware failures as catastrophic as this product does. For you non-engineer types, this should be a task that a really junior, inexperienced engineer could accomplish in a matter of a few days (certainly less than a week). This is not a challenge on any significant magnitude.I purchased a set of ACE lights, used them for a few days with great success and was really pleased with their performance. I then attempted to charge them using an Apple iPhone wall wart. The front unit promptly died. I contacted See.Sense and spoke to a service rep, he was insistent that the Apple wall wart was to blame. 35 years of engineering experience is relevant here, and the appropriate response that assertion is "Utter Bollocks"! If See.Sense cannot design a charging circuit that does not cause damage/total failure to the CPU they have no business being in the business of making products that require technical expertise. Recently I utilized the iPhone See.Sense app to try to recover the failed light, thinking a reset might do it. No dice, total failure. So I connected to the remaining working light to get an understanding of the device and the remote interface. At the end of fiddling with interface, the second light is now tango uniform (that means dead)Based on others experience with See.Sense's customer service, it is obvious they really don't give a rats ass about providing value to their customers or acting ethically.I am a very disappointed and PO'ed former customer. I think I shall make a video and post it on youtube….

Not a finished product and shouldn't be sold as such.
I bought this product following a few recommendations on websites for ant+ connective bike lights. They are cheaper than others out there, and there's a reason... They don't work as advertised. They market these with a list of things that they can do, but once you look deeper into it they are all things that are in development. The items itself look ok, small and compact, if a little cheap looking. There is w wide range of fitting accessories and charging cables. These never actually got fitted to my bike as the front would not charge correctly and neither would connect to the android app in my phone.I did contact their customer support, who were completely unhelpful. So I'm glad that I purchased these through Amazon as the return process is always simple. As a summary, there's do not do what they are advertised to do and you could buy a quality set of "dumb" lights for this price. Or I'd save up and by a more reputable brand, which is my plan now.I'm so glad I bought from Amazon, as it makes the return simple. I'm just disappointed that Amazon are unaware of the quality of some of the products associated with there brand at times.

Best Lights You will ever buy
Brilliant lights, have been using these for a while now and they hold a charge on flashing for over 19 hours as I have tested that long. They are still showing 3 bars as well. Clip in and out easily and not overly bulky. Several people have seen how bright they are and asked me about them. Very happy customer

Lights arrived - but incomplete.
The lights look great, but it turned up with only the parts to fit one light i.e. half of the light mounts were missing. I do not want to return the box for this alone, but I also don't want to have to buy extras, that I paid for in the first place, besides, first use charge is 10-hours. I have contacted see.sense and am awaiting a response. I belive this was human error/a genuine mistake within their packaging department. Will keep you updated.

Great lights.
Brilliant set of lights, battery lasts for weeks on the economy setting, definitely recommend. Android app is a bit glitchy, but hey, they work as lights and that's why I brought them. Very pleased.

Good product and service
Arrived on time and very easy to set up. Only issue is that I believe the rubber bands securing the lights may not be too strong so I added an additional one to each light.
