MY FAVOURITE SO FAR !
This is a bit different from the usual run of watering controllers, and I found a lot about it to like. It's fairly big, and reassuringly chunky and heavy, and although it's made in China, it has an aura of quality about it lacking in other Chinese-made products of this type - it really looks the biz, perhaps because it was designed in Germany, in the pleasant little country town of Itzehoe, by the quaintly-named company of Summary Gmbh, which markets the Ultranatura brand of garden goodies.Unlike a previous one I reviewed, the hinged plastic cover over the controls is so placed and firmly fitted as not to be prone to be blown open (or even off) in the windy rainstorms that sweep over the ridge on which I live. The filter in the inlet is sensibly large, and a much-needed precaution when using drip-feeders or mist sprays. The battery compartment is out of harm's way on the underside, and there is a battery warning light on the front. The dual timing system couldn't be simpler; each outlet has its own pair of knobs - one to set how often you want it to run each day (or week) and the other to set how long it should run for. You can set both to run at intervals ranging from once an hour to once a week, for periods ranging from one minute to two hours and, when needed, continuously, for manual watering. Each outlet can have a different schedule.Easily a match for the more well-known brands and, I'm bound to say, my favourite amongst the several I've reviewed down the years, including two Hozelocks.

The battery compartment dies not include rubber seals and therefore is built for short term lifespan
This seems fine program wise for two watering sections and I like it's flexible timing interval and length of the event. What I didn't like was the fact this has to connect directly to tap and no alternative method such as to a small length of hose via the hose to hose connector method, as it's quite heavy and my tap is upside down which means the battery area is exposed at the top. Though this is unusual, it meant I thought about the battery cover and discovered how its not built for outdoors. I dislike the lack of rubber seal around the battery cover as this product is built to fail with a flaw like that along with use of very brittle plastic which meant I couldn't tighten it with a spanner and do it leaked a small amount from the connection point.I'm giving it an average score as it worked sort of but for a 4 or 5 I'd need a fully waterproof battery compartment as one British hard winter or very wet month and seepage could occur even if we are talking about dampness in the air.

Good value
This is battery operated so you don’t have to worry about a nearby power source, although if you are using it constantly, you’d be better investing in some rechargeable batteries, because it does get through the, quite quickly (or perhaps I am expecting too much from it) for the money it’s decent value, and it doesn’t feel like it will break, unlike some similar products I have seen. The 2 outlets mean you can operate separate watering regimes, if necessary, so all in all a useful addition to our garden

Don't look very resistant
This Ultranatura System for watering you can program in advance I love that. I tried before went on holidays and works perfect, I just scared in case the batteries gone. They need two batteries to work, so if you travel for long they will need replacement. You can control and programing with two control knobs, one sets the water frequency, you can set the hours and the second knob the duration of the water you can set until 2 hours maximum, time enough to water. Is easy to set up, It's a bit heavy, the quality of the product I am not very sure if is good.
