RiteAV - 1 Port HDMI 2 Port Cat6 Ethernet Decorative Wall Plate - White

I have a TV mounted on a wall above a fireplace because it looks cool and I want my TV to die an early death. Of course it's a Sony 4K UHD blah blah with wifi and all the works. But like the usual Sony products, they always screw something so simple up that it practically ruined the whole product. This time, it's the wifi. Fast forward 1 year of connection issues and full contact violent cussing at the TV disturbing my trance as mid performance of a spectacular AGT performance, I decided it's time to do something about it. This is when I found RiteAV 1 port HDMI 2 port Cat6 ethernet. I wanted 2 cat 6 ports because unlike dogs, cats prefer to have a frenemy to keep them entertained when you're at work. Worked well. Easy to change ports with other RiteAV products and within the unit if you want to change port position. Looks clean.NOTE: when plugging connectors into the back side of the unit it makes the assembly VERY long. You need a very deep box or an open low voltage wall hanger to mount. Will not fit into a standard high voltage box if you were trying to do that for whatever reason. In my case I was using a box external to the wall and just cut the dry wall behind it to get clearance.

Works great. No complains. Used it to route a cable that passes 4K HDR video and audio from my receiver in one room to a TV in another. Does that flawlessly and provides Ethernet in the same room. Clean setup. Thanks.

I am all jacked up

Easy to install, works great, looks great! Fit perfectly into my existing low voltage bracket, and helps keep my cords neat. It probably took me a total of about 15 minutes to install it. (most of that was wiring the keystone jacks.
