OtterBox Symmetry Series Case for iPhone Xs & iPhone X - Bulk Packaging - Gradient Energy

Do NOT buy this. Only after receiving it am I 100% sure it’s a knock off for multiple reasons. 1) It didn’t come in the normal Otterbox packaging. It was in a plastic bag inside a generic brown box with a large sticker that said “otterbox authorized reseller”- no trademark (™). 2) the side buttons are not raised like an original otterbox symmetry case. 3) It did NOT fit on my phone. For the life of me I could not get it on my iPhone X, and I did order the correct size. It’s pretty but I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing. I’m now waiting for my return to be approved.

I bought this case for the first time a little over a year ago, and in my memory, it came as pictured, and I was very happy with it. Since it got old, I decided to purchase another, but when I got it, I found that the edges which are supposed to be clear instead have a strong green tint, as if the color from the hard plastic on the back leeched into the soft plastic on the sides. I contacted the seller about the issue, and they sent me a replacement, which I really appreciate. However, the replacement had the same problem, and when I requested a refund, my request wasn't responded to. The case is still functional, but what I received is definitely not what is pictured. I know it shouldn't be a big deal, but I don't have a lot of money, so when I buy something, I need it to be worth it. This doesn't look the way it's supposed to (and how I know it looked a year ago when I purchased it the first time), so I'm disappointed.

I got mine through the amazon warehouse “used” and it has a small scratch on the back. I have had many Otterbox cases in the past, and while they are sturdy, sometimes it is difficult to use buttons or get plugs in/out because of the depth of the casing or the various rubber stops. This is only 1 piece, and it fits fairly trim to the phone. The casing is thick rubber material and has worked for my little drops here and there off the couch or onto the floorboards of my car. I wouldn’t trust this case to take a mighty tumble down some concrete steps, but it’s cute and keeps my phone safe while not being too bulky.

I've tried many phone cases, and for some reason, they usually don't make the bumper high enough (the height above the top of the screen) to prevent damage to screen or screen protector. This one is a little better, because has a slightly higher bumper. I have fewer cracked screen protectors....but they still crack. I like the way it looks, but when I get a new phone, I will definitely be looking for something that has a higher bumper.

Everyone drops their phone. I did and the back of my iPhone X cracked as though I had dropped it without any case on it whatsoever. This case is sleek and it doesn't work. Save your money. Otterbox charges you for the warranty to replace a defective case also. Wouldn't buy from them again unless they bought me a new iPhone to replace the one their company failed to protect.

Excellent phone case for my iPhone XS. It’s lightweight but offers great protection to my new phone. I expected a somewhat chunky phone case so super happy that this case is lightweight with the OtterBox reputation for protection. Also very stylish and pretty design. Constantly receive compliments.

This case fell apart. I have bought OtterBox cases for my family for years and never have I had this happen.

Great for people who are not into bulky phone cases. I definitely don’t think people in construction or other heavy duty jobs should use this but it’s perfect for me and the ombré glitter design is very cute. It came in new packaging and was in new condition.

I received this with already scratches at the back, but still I love it. It’s beautiful, durable and hopefully will protect my phone.
