very effective case
I got this to replace the same one, in a different color, that I'd had for five years. After all that time, having kept two phones safe through thick and thin (and it had been dropped plenty of times), it owed me nothing. The shell had cracked in a couple of places, and finally a chunk ripped off. The new shell fits perfectly over the old liner. I think the pale blue+black liner color scheme looks nice. The new liner seems like a stiffer, more plastic-y material than the old liner, and the complaints of some reviewers about the stiffness of the power button are probably true. So I'm just using the shell and not the new liner, and my positive review reflects my five years with an earlier exemplar of this product. It really did its job.

Great protection for an iphone. This is a replace for one purchased years ago. Wife loves the case.

I drop my phone too often to use any other case. I’ve dropped it on various surfaces from various heights and it has protected my phone from cracking and malfunctioning. My daughter did not have an otterbox and dropped her phone. Now she has a new phone and an otterbox case.

It is high quality, great colors and has already protected my phone from a few drops. The top power button is just a little stiffer than I like but everything else is great. I did feel like I needed a pop socket to hold on to because it is so smooth and my hands drop stuff. =)

It's pretty AND a great protective cover. Fits snug and has a lot of protection. Would recommend.
