Not for agressive chewers
I have three pit bulls that are just a little over a year old. I ordered three different huggable hounds for each dog. The biggest one carries his around wherever he goes. The other two had destroyed theirs within two days unfortunately. I would buy another one for the one dog but I am going to have to find something else for the other two right now. Since they are still puppies, I am hopeful that later on the other two will appreciate their stuffed animals. LOL

Fun snuggle buddy for your buddy
I got this toy for my 20lb puppy and it has become one of his favorite toys. He enjoys chewing on it, and also enjoys snuggling with it when he's done chewing. The squeaker is very loud so he enjoys playing with it, and it has a really nice shape for dog play. It is pretty sturdy, and so far there are no signs of wear and tear on the toy. I would recommend this toy for dog caretakers, certainly.

Great toy but does not hold up
The puppy really liked this toy but the stitching opened up in just a day and all the stuffing came out. I gave this as a gift to a new puppy and was very unhappy to hear that it didn’t even last a day. I feel I should either get a refund or a replacement.

It’s not Rosie proof
This is sturdier than a lot of toys but the wings are a weak point. Our golden retriever loves to carry her stuffed animal babies around but, our English Pointer shreds them. Rosie got this one on the wing after 2 weeks.

New Best Friend!
I rarely write reviews, but just had to for this toy! I have an 8 month old, 55lb Belgian Malinois - he can joyfully destroy most toys in no time. It is an ongoing mission to find toys that can survive ... and even more difficult, toys that can survive but are also soft enough to not cause destruction when he’s inside playing. For whatever reason, he LOVES to shake his toys back and forth - viciously, lol. Also loves to step on toys and then slide them around the floor with his foot. We have an ongoing argument over the throw rug in front of the door ... he is determined to slide that thing all over the living room like he is Aladdin and that’s his magic carpet. He’s a weirdo, but I adore him.I saw these Hugglehounds toys, and thought “do I dare to dream that these could survive my Maligator and also not destroy my house if they go flying?” So I threw caution to the wind and ordered the small moose initially, just to see how durable they really would be. He loved it immediately, and also chewed the ears off in no time. Seems to be a pattern with any soft toys that have ears, no clue what he has against ears, lol. But these toys are VERY well made, because even with the ears off, the seams were still intact, so the moose did not fall apart. I then got the small raccoon, so I could alternate the two while I have one in the wash. But then I got the large octopus ... OMG, he absolutely ADORES this one! I chose it because he has lots of legs to grab so my crazy dog can shake the heck out of him, but no ears to chew off, lol. My puppy IS gradually pulling out that tuft of hair on top of Ollie’s head, but it’s so little and it gives him the sense he’s getting away with tearing something up, and it doesn’t seem to be affecting the integrity and strength of that seam. So I’m not bothered by that at all.He loves to go around with a leg in his mouth, shaking Ollie wickedly, but also likes to just carry him around or even to snuggle with him sometimes. The squeakers at the end of each leg barely squeak, which is fine with me, lol. The squeaker in the body squeaks easily, but is FAR less irritating of a noise than the ones in a lot of other toys.Bottom line, both me and the Mali approve of and love these toys! I’m going to have to get another Octopus, so I can always have one available while one gets a bath. These are soft toys, so at some point they are bound to fall apart - which in no way reflects poorly on how they are made. (Although, after a couple of months of almost daily play and abuse, that little moose is still fully intact, except for his ears.) Nothing lasts forever, especially with an aggressive chewer/shaker. But they are hands down the sturdiest made ones we’ve ever tried. And when any one of them finally has to be retired, I’ll just get a replacement. Trust me - it is money well spent.

Dog had the large flaming apart in less than a day.
This is a really nice and soft plush. If you do not have an aggressive chewer then this is perfect.Unfortunately, my dog is a great chewer. So great, in fact, that she managed to demolish the poor flamingo's face, ripped the beak clean off, in less than a day. That was before her really aggressive chewing gets started.I will say that other than that the large flamingo is really nice. Past dogs I've had would never have ripped it apart, it is the current dog that is nuts about chewing on soft things. Yay for furniture being hard, so I don't have to deal with that problem.Bottom line or perhaps TL;DR: good product unless your dog is a major chewer. May not survive chewing or tug of war. Cute and soft.

No indestructible
My dog loves bruiser, he is her baby. But after nine hours she had torn a hole in the side and was ripping stuffing out. She loves him so much bought two more. GOD willing these will be indestructibleReceived the 2nd Bruiser yesterday, gave it to her 3 hours ago, and she already has fluff all over my apartment, can not get picture cause she wont let the toy go.You need to take indestructible out of the description for this toy. Its ashame my dog loves it cost me 35$, for 3 hours of her holding and chewing. I wish it was more durable and better made

Shelties favorite toy...
We have purchased from this company before. The soft stuffed animals can withstand our Shetland Sheepdogs, a medium sized dog, and their tug of war on who will retrieve the toy. We throw it and the dogs basically tug it back to our feet.

Durable and as Described
Exactly as described. Although it can still be destroyed, this has now lasted a month for my dog that normally destroys his toys in a week. The ears are a bit flimsier than the rest, but the squeakers everywhere means that he's able to destroy one bit and still play with the toy.I will add though that he doesn't enjoy this toy as much as his others and I think it's because of the difficulty in destroying it. However, that's not the toy's fault as it is exactly as described.

"Durable" But Not Exactly
Gave this to my new pup and after a month, the fox's back has been pulled open at the seem and he was eating the stuffing... I'd have expected a bit longer lasting life span when it's advertised as being durable...

Didn’t last an hour
It’s claimed as being durable, but it’s anything but. I’ve paid half the price for other plush toys for my small border terrier/cocker cross that have lasted months and yet he ripped this apart in less than an hour. Utter waste of money for something massively overpriced for the shocking quality. Hugely disappointed.

Really good little toy for the pooch
The media could not be loaded. Really cute little frog kicking myself I never pressed large instead of small I never seen that option until now ordered it yesterday said it was coming the end of the week and here it is already bare in mind I ordered this later on at night as well so really really good postage and the dog loves it seems sturdy enough but that’s what I always say and it end up being a rag instead of a animal but fingers crossed this one lasts her.

Not suitable for vigorous chewers
I bought this toy for my lively 9 month old GSP puppy - it was a good size and she loved it. However after only two days of playing with it she managed to chew the neck area so the head started to hang off. She pulled out the inner body stuffing, got hold of the main squeaker body parts and we are still missing one part of that. I don't know if she has hidden it or eaten it but after a few days she is still fine so am hoping she didn't. I only saw one positive review at the top of the page, and didn't spot the other alarming reviews right at the bottom of the product page (maybe from the US site?) until after I had bought this. If I had seen those I would never have purchased this product.
