To start off, I do thorough research and I’m VERY picky when it comes to purchasing products ESPECIALLY when it’s on the “pricy” side and I have no idea what a “good quality” bed sheet is supposed to be.You might be thinking... “that’s with everyone!” LOL. I’m a little different.To give you a general idea- it took me TWO (2) months (no joke) for me to choose which pillows / inserts to purchase for my couch that was extremely expensive and custom made!This was my clean fresh start... I wanted everything in the house to be absolutely “PERFECT.”...THAT was my biggest issue.The word, “Perfect.”Being a “perfectionist.”Having to deal with mild OCD!So going back to my review- in the past, I’d always buy the product with “highest review” and/or “highest rating.”DO NOT USE THIS METHOD WHEN SHOPPING ON AMAZON!!!For example, when I was looking for a pillow insert for my couch or my bed, I was going to click “check out” UNTIL I stumbled across some negative feedbacks. I immediately read through them; and thought it must’ve been a mistake! It clearly says *best seller* and/or has 5K+ reviews with overall 4 1/2 star ratings! I was so confused. I started to read more reviews and I clicked to read the “recent ratings.”That was the day that my amazon shopping changed forever. I’m NOT over exaggerating. When I was shopping for Kanken Backpacks for back to school; I decided that I didn’t want to “gamble” by buying a fake knock-off brand. Instead; I bought it from the Fjallaven Company site directly.To sum up my amazon experience (which later ties to the review of this product)... ALWAYS READ THE REVIEWS BEFORE ANY PURCHASE! From house decor, stationery supplies, makeup, etc.Why couldn’t someone tell me this earlier..?WHY DOESNT AMAZON CHANGE THIS “glitch”!?OKAY. Back to the review on the bed sheets.Some facts that I learned from my research on google was:1. High thread counts doesn’t mean “high quality.”Thread count is often used in terminology as best bed sheet’s smoothness and it’s durability. It’s the number of threads woven into a square inch of fabric. Unfortunately, this isn’t always reliable.Thread sheet should be taken into consideration; but the type of cotton is the most significant!2. The bed sheet is a SCAM if it advertises as having more than 1,600+ thread count. My research concluded that having more than 1,600+ is not 100%. Which means the bed sheet listed as 2,000 thread count has the “FILLERS”3. The TOP quality cotton is 100% Egyptian Cotton. Remember, if the product simply states, “made with 100% cotton” assume that it’s made with “American upland cotton” (aka: NON-TOP QUALITY).4. The difference between American upland cotton is that unlike 100% Egyptian cotton- it feels “rough” and less expensive variety.Egyptian Cotton’s long fibers produce sheets that are thin and sumptuous YET- Strong and Long-lasting. The shorter fibers if upland cotton can poke out of the weave; aka: weaker fabric. Then, there’s the Pima Cotton. Pima is soft and better than the upland cotton.5. Use common sense. Don’t expect “OMG!!! I’M SLEEPING ON CLOUDS” after purchasing a $40 bed sheet marketed as *best quality*Helpful Info: “Percale” is plain, matte weave with crisp/cool feel (perfect for people that get hot easily). “Sateen” is slightly heavier but extremely soft and smooth.My experience: I never thought I would be so excited about a BED SHEET! Just as advertised; this was LEGIT 100% CERTIFIED EGYPTIAN COTTON.I highly recommend it!

Threse sheets have the luxurious feel of a very expensive hotel, or better. I bought the ivory and it is lovely

I don't ever really write reviews, but these sheets are worth of one. The attention to detail in presentation and packaging instantly make you aware that you've purchased a luxury item. I was very impressed with just how the sheets arrived! I'm keeping the high end magnetized closing box and cotton drawstring bag they arrived in. Great way to store your sheets when or if needed. Material is a very high quality 100% cotton (which many sheets say they are, but arent!). Great feel, great fit. They have a nice elastic strap that fits beneath your mattress to ensure the fitted sheet will stay put. They washed up well and I would definitely purchase another set or gift these. I ordered them in white, very crisp and true white color. I am a review reader and make purchases based on the reviews of others, so I'm hoping this will encourage anyone on the fence to give them a try!

After reading a review on the high quality and authenticity of these sheets I decided to take the plunge and purchase.I have owned other "pricey" Egyptian cotton sheets that didn't live up to their claims. These truly feel like they should be in 5 star hotel. Well made and extremely comfortable after the first wash. With other sheets there always seems to be a break in period. You get what you pay for . Considering how much money I have wasted on expensive "scratchy" sheets this was a well worth it investment.

Very soft, with a lovely smooth finish. Well-made. Lots of thoughtful touches like beautiful packaging which would make these a nice gift, and a drawstring bag to keep the set together. I do prefer a slightly heavier weight sheet. The thinness also seems to lend to the sheets quickly looking wrinkled and rumply, which I haven't noticed in my other mid-to high-end sheets. If the same sheets were available in a heavier weight I would buy them in a heartbeat, but for me these are just a tad too thin for a repeat purchase.

Good quality sheet set. Soft and thick it's real high quality cotton. It looks silky but it doesn't feel silky slippery it's soft as cotton not as silk. Beautiful ivory color just as they showed it in photos. It doesn't collect fabric balls as other cheap sheets it just stay clean and new. It wrinkles though but not too bad.It's expensive but will last long unlike cheap sheets that won't last few months.

Sheets are overpriced for what you get. The stitching at the top of the flat bed sheet puckers badly after washing - of course, then it's too late to return them. My mattress is 16" deep and the 18" deep fitted sheet is way too big for this sized mattress. Maybe they will shrink? The sheets are soft but let's not confuse that with being very, very thin, my guess is that they'll need to be replaced after a year when they wear through. And yes, as per other comments, they come packaged in a bag (made of the same sheet material) and a nice box. But packaging only adds to the already high price that the consumer is paying.

Counterfeit product but the quality seems ok. Much too expensive for a fake. Not Pure Parima sheets.
