great product, the u
great product, the u.v. protected plexiglass will ensure magazines will not fade due to direct sunlight hitting the shadow box. If you want to protect a vintage or highly collectible magazine, this is what you need. make sure to pay close attention to the manufactures exact width and height measurements before putting other than sports illustrated/ comic book. ive discovered that these shadow boxes can display college football game programs that are 7.50 inches to 8 inches wide and the widely used 10.50 inches in height, which was most measurements for vintage college football game programs for around 1918-1950's. in closing, its hard to find shadow boxes with u.v. protection plexiglass to display vintage college football programs, most dealers and shops display them in cheap plastic sleaves. This way you can put your favorite football program in a displaygifts.com shadow box and it looks polished, very presentable and you know the cover is not going to fade.sincerely Steven Alexander.

The Centerpiece of Every Man Cave
First, let me say how pleased I was with the timeliness and safe packaging that this product arrived in. It was very easy to remove the paper material from the plexi-glass slabs (instructions were provided), and took no less than 10-minutes for this novelist home repairs guy to hang both frames. I have noticed a trend in the review section from other buyers, explaining that their magazines were too loose inside of the frames. I purchased two SI magazines for my frames, and noticed the slightest amount of room on each side of the magazine (most likely intended for the magazine to slide in without any adverse effects to the paper). I am very pleased with this product, as it has jazzed up my KC Chiefs collection. I highly recommend this product.

Close, but not really a good fit
This display case was characterized as fitting later years issues of Sports Illustrated. I have a 2014 issue I wanted to display and indeed it "fits", kind of like a size 12 shoe fits a guy with size 10 feet. There is a lot of extra perimeter, close to 1/2 inch, and it's deep enough that you could put a fairly thick catalogue in it, which leads to the magazine bending behind the glass rather than laying flat. I'll also mention that the plexiglass comes with protective adhesive paper on both sides, which is good. The instructions tell you that you should heat it with a hair blower before pulling it off. NOT NECESSARY. If you are careful and aren't living inside the Arctic Circle, if you carefully pull it off, it should come off just fine.

Nice Case
This works really nice but carefully measure the magazine or program you plan to put in the case before you purchase. I had some nice autographed programs from championship seasons, but the NHL program did not fit - even though it looked like it would based upon advance measurements. All in all a nice case and a great way to show off memorabilia while keeping it safe.

These are a definite must have!
These are fantastic magazine frames and have bought them several times before from this vendor and have not been dissatisfied one bit. I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking to display their collectible magazines. These do the job perfectly of protecting them and displaying them.

Looks very nice, but...
They doesn't come with mounting hardware, which is annoying. They're also not sealed at the top, so I'm not sure it's a great idea for paper memorabilia like magazines, especially in an area with high humidity like where I live. They also don't come with anything to keep the magazine in place. It's about an inch wider than the Sports Illustrated that I bought it for so it just slides around in the frame. Thinking of returning them, unfortunately.

Could have been a better fit.
The top is actually left open and the wood is just behind the acrylic at the top. Would have preferred it be completely sealed. It's also a little larger than the Sports Illustrated magazine on the sides, too. Could have been a better fit.

We keep coming back.
Fits well and looks nice. We have tried several others and keep coming back to these. It’s the best I’ve found for the price.
