I was looking for a journal to use for my writing, Business meeting notes, jotting down ideas, maybe even sketching. I wanted something exactly like this journal - made by hand and unique. Really wish I could give this more than 5 stars. I am amazed at such high quality for so little cost. Even at the full price, this journal is totally worth it.The leather is of high quality, feels so awesome to touch. You will notice at first touch that it is real leather and none of that fake stuff. It does have a nice leather scent to it and no smell of chemicals of any kind.The paper is what made me love this journal even more. The paper has that nice paper mache feel to it since it seems to be handmade as well. It is smooth enough to withstand the most type of pens. I tried first with my fountain pen and the paper had no problem holding the ink and I was able to write on both sides of the pages because the ink did not bleed through. The ball pen glided well and I didn’t have to press hard to get a good ink flow. I have also been using my mechanical pencil for some occasional sketching and have had no problem at all.So many of friends have been asking me where I got this journal and I keep referring them to this listing. If you are looking for a handmade leather journal with a vintage feel, this is most probably the best choice out there. Trust me and don’t hesitate. Get yourself one of these!!

The workmanship is 5 star and it is truly a work of hand-crafted art. I wanted something that had a classic rustic and vintage look to it. I write a travel journal on every major trip we take. The smell and look of the leather is perfect. I love the vintage look and feel of it.The paper inside is really cool. It's thicker than regular paper due to it being made from cotton, and it's an absolute dream to write on! Just nice and smooth strokes with NO BLEED! It's beautifully made and an excellent journal, by far the coolest one I own!The leather is awesome and smooth with a lovely feel in your hand. The cotton pages are securely bound to the spine with a beautiful leather thong stitch. Not heavy or bulky, and plenty of room to write, draw, or even a little watercolor/pastel work is possible.Bottom line is you don't have to be a great artist or writer to enjoy this lovely book. Just use it and enjoy it.Keep writing, stay happy!

I love my new handmade leather journal and all the fine details such as the pink jewel on the cover and the embossing on the leather. You can immediately tell that someone poured their handiwork into this, and it feels great to know that this was made by a person who poured love and attention into making this. This is not something that comes from a factory somewhere. It is a unique item that will allow me to express my innermost thoughts. The paper is natural and feels hand-pressed as well, making for a luxurious and earthy writing surface, and I imagine will hold up nicely to watercolor and markers. I'm thrilled with my purchase!

I truly love this journal. I have been following them on Instagram for quite some time now and couldn't wait to get my hands on one of them. Totally worth the wait. It is real leather. The paper quality is amazing and it smells really good. I am thinking of getting my fam and friends a journal for Christmas.I love that it is handmade and the craftsmanship truly shows. I use this for a D&D campaign and it is perfect. It works well with all pens that I have used so far--no smears at all. The paper is a really nice quality and you can write on the front and back with no bleed-through. The journal looks exactly like the picture and has a high quality of craftsmanship. My D&D friends were all really impressed by how amazing it looks and have been thinking about buying one too. 10/10 purchase.

My journal came in and I love my journal so much it is exactly as described. It is pretty sturdy for being handmade. This makes the perfect gift as I think I will purchase more to give out as gifts.
