Great for my kitty with a bad back
Perfect for a small pet needing help to get up on a high bed! One of my cats has some orthopedic issues and sleeps in my daughter’s room on her bed which is higher than the average bed, however the steps are the perfect height with the four step option. Super easy to put together. The only drawback, and it’s slight, it that we have other cats who can be a little wild so when they run up and down it and it wobbles a bit. It’s never fallen over though. Since the afternoons are warm in that room they like to take naps on the steps as they’re soft. Really easy to clean fur off! All that being said...I do think that this as well of the vast majority of wood and carpet structures for pets are greatly overpriced

definitely some room for improvement...
After purchasing an extra tall bed and mattress (30" tall in total) - I was looking for some somewhat discreet stairs to make getting in an out of bed easier for my senior cat. I finally settled on these and have been somewhat underwhelmed.PROS:- the construction is solid wood (no flimsy mdf board or foam) - so i am hopeful that these will stand up over time.- aesthetically speaking - these are fairly unobtrusive (compared to the alternatives) which is just what I was looking for.- assembly was quick and easy, the steps are covered by removable covers, so despite being white, will hopefully be easy to wash and keep looking great!CONS:- these are solid wood but unfinished wood. I ended up lightly sanding and treating the support columns for each of the stairs with wood wax and sealer before assembling to make this look and feel a bit more finished. This of course would also allow you to customize the finish if you would like, but, considering the $70 price tag, I was hoping for a bit more polish.- These do not have any floor grips or slip protection. The carpeting for the base does wrap around to the underside, which makes for a nicer looking finish, but does mean that this will slip and slide all over the place on hardwood floors. I had some extra furniture grip pads on-hand which I used to secure them, so again a fairly easy fix, but at the price point, would have expected this to have been included with the unit.- The unit is comprised of the base board, 2 support columns per stair and the stair boards themselves. Each column is secured with steel bolts to both the base and stair boards. While the first two stairs (with lower columns) do feel somewhat secure and stable, the top two stairs are VERY wobbly and definitely not secure enough to hold 250lbs as advertised. There is no support between the stairs or added bracketing for the top stairs that would definitely go a long way in making these more secure. Of course, with my cat weighing in at a whopping 15lbs, this hopefully won't cause much issue - however, I was also hoping to be able to use these as a quick convenient step ladder (as shown in the pictures) for my high closet shelves. At all of 130lbs, I am 100% not comfortable standing on these!- the carpet covers for the stairs as mentioned are removable, but a bit cheap in the fit/construction. They are basically carpet "shower caps" (just a pouch with a cheap elastic bands) - so do look a bit bunched on the stairs themselves. The base board carpeting is also not removable, so I'm not sure how well this will hold up and stay clean.Overall, for the price point ($70), i was expecting more - had these been in the $40 range, I would more likely to recommend. I am also very disappointed that they are not able to be used as a small step ladder as shown and that they are overall, absolutely not as secure as advertised. There aren't a ton of options out there for pet stairs, but i would suggest trying out another option instead of these!

Great steps
Loved it but the dog did not know what to use it for and why it was there. Sorry, had to return it.

Too steep and the steps are not wide enough
I have a chihuahua that is used to using steps to get up and down from the bed. However, he would not go down these steps because they were too steep for him and very narrow. He could only have two paws on each step at a time. He is 14 and partially blind. More suitable for a cat or younger dog. Had to return them.

Excellent
My cats are older and needed assistance with getting up and down on their bed. This stair was perfect, they used it immediately. Very easy to assemble. My only wish is that it was clear coated as it is raw wood but I will fix that later. Love the removable stair covers will be easy to clean.
