This product works fantasticly. I absolutely love it for all of my seasoning needs. I've been using it for about 3 months, with no problems. It has a good pepper throughout even on it's finest setting. Speaking about settings, I find the range absolutely amazing. I can go super fine for things like soups or salads, and then I can go to a medium grain for things like chicken with a bit more coarse for things like pork. I haven't done steaks yet (simply too much these days), but I will be using a very coarse setting for that, which this grinder can get very coarse. The construction seems to be built well, but time will only tell. Even is this thing last only a few years, it's worth it. But, I feel as though the grinder is going to last longer than that.I highly recommend this pepper mill for the discerning home cook, or for someone who is tired of a slow grinder.

I bought this as a gift for my husband for his birthday in 2020. We’ve used it every few days since that time. It ground pepper really well and we were happy with it.About a week ago I noticed that the two screws on the bottom of the mill were loosening. I screwed them back in and was disappointed that such an expensive product was now for some reason faulty. The screws were halfway out when I happened to see them and tighten them back up.Last night I made my weekly bulk batch of breakfast burritos to sell at our church cafe. I noticed that one of the screws was missing from the bottom of the grinder and I looked for it for a long time, but could never find it. I figured it had fallen on the floor and I’d swept it up and thrown it away.Well, because Nothing Can Be Good Anymore, we all know where this is going. My husband went to the cafe and bought one of my burritos this morning. About an hour later in the middle of service he sent me this photo.He ate the last bite of his burrito and found this screw that had fallen out of our pepper grinder. It was IN HIS FOOD.1. If it had been in any other person’s food I would have lost my contract to sell burritos with the church.2. What if it had been in a child’s food?3. WHAT IF SOMEONE HAD SWALLOWED ITI am livid and embarrassed. This product is wildly flawed and honestly, people have sued for less. Maybe I still will.

I really like this pepper mill. I have always had cheaper ones and they never lasted. Although new I can tell the mechanism is much more well made than the one it is replacing. It easily adjusts and grinds. With this grinder I can mill my peppercorns down very find and then quicly change to a coarser grind. I only wish I had opted for the 9 inch size as I find myself refilling this more often. This is probably due to the fact that it works so well I am always reaching for it. I also like that I supported an American company with a great reputation.

Perfect size pepper grinder for me. Looks great, easy to use and my family was excited to have fresh ground pepper for their breakfast this morning. I really love the wood feel in m hands and I’m going to enjoy using this grinder everyday. Buy it if you are looking for a medium size pepper grinder.
