I purchased this cleaning kit for my HW100BP air rifle and I am very pleased with my purchase.The kit contains everything you need to clean a rifle, pistol, or shotgun in multiple different calibers. The only thing lacking are the cleaning and oiling solutions required for full cleaning and protection. This was fine for my needs as air rifles require a specific formulation to prevent ‘dieseling’.This is a complete kit and is sturdy enough to last for a number of years and I would not hesitate to purchase it again when the need arises.

So, I am not a conventional shooter and work with black powder. Of course, it is always worth using specialist tools where required but, in general, aside from the fowling being a little excessive for the clothes, the jags and various brushed have helped me loads.My Remington Navy (the Beals model) was in fairly good shape but was developing rust due to some lack of cleaning. I managed to use the brushed in here to clear off the rust (do not use a steel brush on old guns, of course) and clear out the old fowling. The pistol has never looked better. If this had been cleaned more often, I'm sure the kit would have been much easier to work with.What I love is that you get a brush and mop for so many calibres. I've been using the .357 on my .36 but you may have a .22 or something similar. As said, there is a brush for all of the convential sizes including some shotgun sizes. Loads of options here. Honestly, whilst you may need some extra bits of kit to clean certain components, if you're heading to the range, pop this set in your car and you should be good to give your guns a quick clean up after shooting.

Great quality of cleaning rods and adapters for the firearm needing to be cleaned. The other provider online for a similarly designed cleaning case is junk compared to this one. This one has sturdy rods and adapters. The competitor’s item is a waste of money. I first bought the competitor to this one and wished I had not. Caveat emptor.

I received this product as a gift from my wife so I could have one consolidated kit between my rifles and shotguns.Apart from the variety of components and their clear labeling, I appreciate the quality of machining of each component just as much! Lesser-priced kits have janky threads full of slop or the rods aren't concentric to the jags, mops and handles - this kit is above and beyond. No metal parts are cast and evident they have been machined with pride. Everything. Just. Fits. No snags, no 'backturning' threaded parts to make sure they line up before risking a crossthreading. It's accuracy and simplicity makes assembly and use almost mindless. While I like the simplicity of a snake, I really appreciated how easy it is to switch from a jag to a mop and clean things without any fuss. The included roll of swab is dense but pliable and doesn't tear into feathered bits. The swabs are also lint-free and eager to clean up that last pass through the barrel. Even the little bore light, which is usually a dollar store throw-in is bright, doesn't rattle, and has a strong magnet. I'd gladly buy this again and gift it to friends that also shoot. A pleasant surprise and a joy to use.

Before this I had gone through 3 different cleaning kits, 2 from amazon and 1 hoppes kit from Canadian tire. All of them had super thin rods which snapped, some came with plastic jags (really?) And some had brushes so stiff I was worried about damage occuring to my bores. No more. This has all you need and of very high quality. The bore light is kind of crappy but whatever. Very satisfied and will recommend to friends.

The media could not be loaded.  This gun cleaning kit is the best! At first look, the retail packaging is very professional looking, so much so that I gave one to my Dad for his birthday too, and he loved it. It will clean all guns too, which is another reason I bought it.After opening the case up, I was happy to see that it includes actual solid brass jags and brass slotted tips! I read many reviews when deciding, and other kits that have plastic jags ended up breaking off in the barrel sometimes! I would be very uneasy using other plastic nylon jags due to this problem, so one word of advice is don't buy those for sure, brass is best. The brass rods will not scratch the barrel too as they are softer than steel. This case has a slot for every piece, when I first opened it up one of the bronze brushes had come loose but easily popped back into place. The black case is more compact than I thought it would be and will easily come with me, the latches secure nice and tight.I was looking at the Otis kit but this one is a much better value and also has more stuff including a cool LED magnetic bore light with a flexible head. The bore light didn't work at first, but I found a plastic round piece in the battery compartment and easily took it out and it works great, nice n bright. I also like the push rods much better than the cable pull system Otis uses. I use my own solvent/cleaner and didn't need that in this kit as it doesn't come with any anyway. The patch material is 100% lint free cotton and comes in a roll which I thought was pretty cool, not those cheap synthetic feeling patches the other kits have. This makes so much more sense as I can cut a smaller patch for my 22 and a larger one for my 270 weatherby magnum or whatever I am cleaning at the time.So all in all this kit is a real value and worth the upgrade and extras over the ones with cheap plastic stuff. Oh, I almost forgot, includes a 5 year warranty too which is awesome :)
