100% what I was looking for. Worth the Price for the Quality.
Alright, let's talk about this Northern Brewer Glass Continuous Kombucha Container. First off, it's made from some fancy high-quality European glass, and boy, does it show off my kombucha creations in style. Sturdy and well-made, it arrived in one piece thanks to its great secure packaging. And let's not forget the durable stainless steel spigot. None of that flimsy, cheap, poisonous, leaky plastic or cheap chrome plated stuff here. This spigot means business, and I'm all about the quality—refuse to settle for anything less.Sure, it might be a little on the pricy side, but read the reviews of the cheaper glass options and see how often they shatter! Yeah, I didn't want to be cleaning up three gallons of sticky kombucha if a cheap option randomly shattered, so I paid the price for expected higher quality. And since it was going to be in constant long-term use full of acidic kombucha, I didn't want a plastic vessel or a plastic spigot leaching chemicals into my brew. Now, while I personally use this container for continuous brewing of kombucha, it's a versatile beast. You can use it for dispensing, serving, entertaining... Heck, it's perfect for serving any cold beverage you can think of. Lemonade, iced tea, sangria, you name it. Get creative! Hell, it'd probably even make an interesting cool big cylindrical fish tank with spigot for easy water changes, if you were so inclined. It is super easy to clean inside... provided you don't have a smaller kitchen sink like I do. The size is great, and the fact that it's just a big cylinder means it's easy to reach in and scrub... but it is beg enough to be maybe a little unwieldy given your kitchen setup. No fault in production here, it's just big so be aware of that before you buy it. I knew what I was getting into! With its 3-gallon capacity, I always have a steady supply of kombucha on hand. And it looks pretty darn good on my countertop, perched on a sturdy plant stand (tall enough to get a pint glass under for filling.) Classy and functional! In conclusion, this glass container with the stainless steel spigot is a winner in my book. It's the real deal for any kombucha enthusiast. I rarely give a full five stars, but this has been in continual use for 5 months now, and is still amazing. Give it a shot; you won't regret it! Cheers!

Great for kombucha
We have two of these and they work great for keeping us well stocked in kombucha. The size and shape are perfect for our kitchen and they look classy. The spigots can get debris from the mother, but clean out easily.

Quality Kombucha Brewer
I love this for my continuous brewing of kombucha. I prefer the stainless steel Northern Brewer over my glass brewers. The spiket works just fine even though it is plastic (high quality). Although the spiket is fine, I did switch a couple out for stainless steel ones. I used these spiders for my cheaper glass jars since those were not safe for brewing kombucha. I mention this because the spikets are compatible with other containers and can be replaced if you are not comfortable with plastic. I have not had any trouble with leakage. The ring at the top holds the muslin in place. The top is big enough to easily take the scoby out to split it when it grows too big. I started with one brewer and decided to buy two more.

Great Glass Dispenser
I bought this a little over a year ago. It's been in constant use since. The glass seems fairly thick, there are some bubbles in the glass, I don't know if that's bad or good but it looks hand blown and probably made with care. The spigot was not able to be tightened enough to prevent it from rotating sometimes but it has never leaked. Even though it's for Kombucha brewing it would have been great if it came with a lid since it's very useful for many other applications as well.I chose this over the many other mass produced lower quality options. I'm satisfied with my choice.

Perfect for continuous brew
I was a batch brewer for several years and decided to try continuous brewing. I purchased this vessel and immediately put it to the test. I have gone through two draws and it has worked very well. I get 12 bottles per draw, which leaves me 1/3 brew to begin my next batch. Flavor has been great, it hasn’t turned too quickly, and makes it much easier to fill bottles. The vessel itself is quite thick and durable. The ss spigot is not a cheap imitation.

Kombucha love
I have been making kombucha for about 5 months . I was using 4 1-gallon jars which worked well but they did not have spigots so it was messing when moving to F2. Today was my first time using it for F2 and if I had known how much easier it was going to be with the spigot I would have done it sooner. I got the 3 gallon jar and I think that will make enough for my husband and me each week . We LOVE kombucha and we only drink water, kombucha, coffee and hot tea. Great sturdy product thus far and it is also pretty . Highly recommend .

Simple construction.? A bit overpriced.
No lid. Simple cheap construction.? Overpriced perhaps. The lid does not keep fruit flies out. I suggest covering the top with something like a paper towel or other small weave cover secured by an elastic band around the edges.
