Needed to get this quick since I had to start my summer lawn mowing. These worked perfect in my 21" Southland Mower. I could not find information on who made the engine but it looks similar to a Briggs and Stratton. Manufacture wanted $20 for a filter, I wasn't gonna pay that. Southland isn't even sold anymore as far as I know. Found out the name had changed to Powermate. So the only thing I could do was guess based on the size measurements in the description (I mean how many little rectangle filters could be out there for push mowers, haha) I got a two pack like the next day after I ordered them. BAM! Exactly the same except blue rubber instead of orange. You also get an extra sponge type filter you can use in combination with the paper one, since mine did not originally use one I opted not to try to squeeze it into the filter case. I change my filters about every blade change so a two pack will last for about 6 years. Now if you have a dusty lawn or mow dry weedy areas you will want to change yours more often. My mower has a lot more power now, just getting more oxygen the the combustion chamber. Well worth the price I paid for the power increase and the speedy delivery.

Fits perfectly. It filters dust/dirt as you would expect it to. Plan to replace the filter twice a year based on my past experience with the mower & my dusty/bare lawn spots.
