I like the fact that it collapses so it could fit in my tool box. The magnet is so strong that when you try to get it down between engine parts the magnet would stick to something else before you even got close enough to the object your trying to pick up. The magnet end is too long and you can't bend it in tight spots. Now if your using it in an open situation then this is your product. Would not recommend for a mechanic.

I have had this, or a similar tool all my working life (over 60 years)! It is something you need, when you need it, and hardly anything can compare. My last one was robbed of its' magnetic head, and I have the remains, but it is no good without the magnet. I'm glad to have a working one again. Thank you.

...much better than a magnet I've used for years, but lost. The flex head is like my old one...which is exactly what I wanted for reaching behind things with the magnet.

I own a 2015 Scion FRS and this magnet has saved my butt at least a dozen times.Keeps me from turning a 10 minute job into an hour long job when I inevitably drop something down onto the undercarriage covers.

This tool is very handy, unless you have tiny hands for retrieving bolts and other small products, I recommend you get one of these

Great product just what I needed

Strong enough to pick up heavier items and is flexible and extendable and of course I have never dropped a thing since I bought it lol but it’s on the toolbox just in case.
