It really helps me on my job makes my job so much easier and other people at work envy it***

I ordered a new magnetic retrieval tool for my second job. Same exact sise and dimensions as the old one I still have at my primary job. But boy oh boy not the same magnetic force as the old one. Old one could pick up a 20 to 25 lb tool. New one barely picks up a small size ball peen hammer. It does work, extendable and magnetic, definitely not as good as the old (10yr) one.

I have several of these in different strengths. They all work great. I have found many uses for these besides working on cars and trucks

Good solid feel, strong magnet. Haven’t owned long enough to rate longevity.

I bought this thinking it was a size suitable for picking up pins for sewing. My 4 year old loves playing with magnets and I bought this for him to play with thinking it would be must smaller. I was shocked to find out how large it is, my error. No problem, my kiddos love it and it gets a lot of rough play and often gets whacked around. It continues to work for us and holds up to a 2 and 4 year old. How this works for what it was actually built for, idk.

I use this to find lost stainless steel jewelry findings in hard to reach places. It does the job....Alternatively, I also keep this in my bag as a self-defense retractable baton. It's illegal to purchase a baton where I live. So I thought this is a good substitute. I haven't tested whacking something with this but I'll update this review if it falls apart doing so.

Great pick up tool, great price

I have tried a couple different brands but Ullman is definitely the best for tool and magnet strength. I prefer the smooth magnet head as it's much easier to clean off the metal shavings from drilling/cutting through metal than the micro checker plated versions out there.

Durable, strong and quality made product and quickly became my favorite tool.
