It's a little transparent and has glitter. Whatever you're covering will change the color, so paint your surface first. The adhesion won't last a long time either. It's lifting along edges and angles after 1 day, so you'll need to use vinyl primer and probably test a patch with a heat gun to make it adhere better in those areas. I didn't use a heat gun because it didn't seem like it would tolerate heat. For the amount of work you'd have to put in to make it work like a professional quality product, you might as well buy 3M. It was easy to apply tho. I'm not sure that matters if it doesn't stick well...It's fine for things you don't care about lasting a long time and maybe making it work with some glue or spray 99, but not something like covering kitchen cabinets. 2 stars instead of 1 because you could probably make it work if you treated it like the expensive stuff, but only 2 stars because it's not high enough quality (transparent, low adhesion, doesn't *appear* to be heat resistant enough to use heat to shape corners although I did not try) to bother to put the effort in. You'll still have to put effort in to make it stick a long time, even if it's just using glue and clamping until set. Good enough for your cheap stuff you want to change the color of.

Easy to apply. Water and food resistant. Applied to my counter top and was afraid water from the sink and cleaning would lift it, but not at all!! Easy to get air bubbles out if using correct tools. Happy with the outcome!

I rarely have to give bad reviews, but I needed to here just so people know not to waste their time. Not sure how there are so many positive reviews about using this on countertops, especially. I was doing a rental friendly makeover on the cabinets and bought this first . I won't be using this paper and had to buy another brand (highly recommend a matte paper with a wood look by the way). This one is super thin and see through. When you have to use another piece beside it, you can see the overlap right through. Also very difficult to get on without bubbles or creasing because of how thin it is. The edges do not stay stuck on.It did ship quickly. No issues on the seller's part, just not sure where it would be best to use. Definitely not for large pieces due to it being see through and cannot overlap. Maybe okay for a shelf liner? But again, if thicker, it's not a pain to get on straight. The one I have for a shelf liner now, I can just lightly smooth over once with the side of my hand.

Die Folie lässt sich gut anbringen und knittert nicht, wobei es hilfreich ist, wenn man zu zweit arbeitet, damit einer die Folie straff anziehen und der andere "nacharbeiten" bzw. glattstreichen kann. Sie sieht echt schick aus, passt hervorragend zum restlichen, glänzend weißen Unterschrank und es fällt aus der Ferne nicht auf, dass "nachgearbeitet" wurde. Wenn man direkt davor steht, erkennt man die Folie lediglich deshalb, da wir den Farbton nicht exakt getroffen haben. Damit können wir aber gut leben, es sieht auf jeden Fall weniger verratzt aus als davor, als einem die gerissene Ecke gleich ins Auge gesprungen ist. Zur Langlebigkeit kann ich noch nichts sagen, die ersten vier Wochen hat die Folie tadellos ihren Zweck erfüllt.

The first role that I've ordered was so much easier to install than the second one. Of course, it never as easy as shown on the videos, but after couple of tries I did well. Once I got hang of it, it was so easy to smoothly adhere it to the surface, with minimal amount of air bubbles. However, I ordered the 2nd role to finish up my project and the 2nd role was a nightmare, very tough to avoid the bubbles and very tough to smooth them out. and I don't think I'll ever ordered this product.

I used my Cricut to cut this contact paper into subway tile stickers and it looks AMAZING. I love the subtle glitter and the glossy finish makes them look like real glass tile. It is removable (which saved my butt a couple times) so it might not stick 100% on uneven surfaces. I would definitely recommend this product!
