What a fun book for the littles! As I was reading this to my 4 year old grandaughter, their little doggie keenly listened and inspected the illustrations the entire time we were reading the book. I so wish I had a picture!! This book is approved by children and doggies alike😁

What a funny and cute book!

I needed books in my 3rd grade classroom that students could use to take tests in AR while having a very low lexile level. (I want my beginning readers to have reading expectation like their peers at a level where they can be successful.) I continue to look for more books like this to fill my library

I like the variety of vocabulary used and how it's a true rhyming book (no ridiculous stretches to try to pass off almost-rhymes as legit!). Although this can be explained as a form of poetry, I don't like the abundance of sentence fragments; the target audience for this book is still learning about proper sentence structure, and this isn't a good model for that. There is value, however, in using this book for a lesson on inference and context clues. The kids laughed and seemed engaged for the entire story, which is a "win" in my book.

Funny story. My grandson loved it.

Shampoodle is a delightful book about dogs in a grooming salon. Due to cats creating havoc whilst the dogs are being attended too,the dogs end up with some very interesting styles. The book has a rhyming style to it, so it makes it easy to read and interesting to hear, with lovely, comical illustrations appropriate to the context of the page that you are viewing. More importantly my Grandaughter just loves it and I have read it several times to her now she hasn't got bored with it,and it is usually the first one she chooses from the 'library' to have read to her. A Delightful book!

Very good book for both girls and boys that like dogs. The story is interesting, cute, funny, and memorable. I am a librarian but somehow hadn’t read this particular book until today. The vocabulary was a little bit above level 2, and requires some help from a parent. The story and illustrations our outstanding. My granddaughter loves this book.

Lovely fun book, great for my littles. Now off to choose the next book to read. More like this please.

Tiene imágenes muy lindas, texto adecuado al nivel que establece. La historia es entretenida y ayuda a fortalecer y aumentar el vocabulario en el idioma inglés. Excelente para aprender.

The whole book is about -ing. It is good if you practice -ing, but I am not sure it is level 2.

Pra mim a leitura é bem enrolada, palavras mto difíceis e a história não é tão interessante. Para iniciantes não recomendo.
