This weighted lap blanket was purchased for my son who is autistic and sensory seeking. At times he uses a lap blanket for calming purposes or comfort. I purchased another one because both of us love the product. It is everything it said it would be. I keep one at home and in the car. This is great for ANYONE (disability or not) because it is so comfortable and comforting. I personally like it if I am having a certain level of anxiety and want that heavy pressure. Not only for your lap, but you can wear it around your shoulders.

This lovely weighted lap blanket ticks all the right boxes for us.It measures 21" X 24" and weighs 5 pounds. We chose the lovely constellation pattern and the back is grey with little bumps that are there own sensory item as well - it feels nice to run your hand/fingers over them.The weight is well distributed and washes easily.We use this in the house as well as in the car and would happily get one for everyone in the house! The weight of it doesn't interfere with doing things or taking it with you - feels great across my shoulders as well.I highly recommend this weighted lap blanket =]

Our therapist had this blanket in another pattern and the kids loved it so I ordered my own. Very happy with my purchase. Great size to use for preschool and kindergarten age. Thick and soft material with even spread weight.

I was expecting a lap pad that worked for smaller children, but this pad is bigger than that. Would be a more of a small weighted blanket for a small child. However the fabric is super soft and very cute!

My autistic son loves this lap blanket so much. The texture and weight helps him regulate and even keeps him at the dinner table just a little longer. It's small enough to carry around yet the perfect size and weight to actually work. Great product! Highly recommended! It is also good in the car for adults.

My 21 month old has sensory regulation issues and is very difficult to put to bed. I placed him in his crib tonight.. he was fussy as usual.. the second I placed this blanket on him, he stopped fussing and you could visibly see him relax.

I bought this for my son who is Autistic and struggle with Sensory disorder. This helps him calm down when he is feeling overwhelmed and sensory overload. Great for days with a lot of activity a perfect size for him to bring to school and use whenever needed!

I bought it for me at first to help me to handle an in person exam since I have high anxiety. It is perfect and soft and pretty.But soon after I got it, my dog had neurological sickness and needed weight on her to help to stay grounded. So it became a weighted blanket for puppy and it did an amazing job. I was so happy to have this at a critical moment. It was calming her instantly.

My ASD son enjoys this blanket. It is quite portable too. Lays easily on his lap as he seeks pressure on his legs. The two textured fabric is a lovely touch and he enjoys both sides. Super soft and lovely quality. Would recommend
