Great Knits for Kids: 27 Classic Designs for Infants to Ten-Year-Olds Paperback – April 1, 2005

Great Grandma wants to knit sweaters for her great grandkids and needed ideas. She is thrilled with the book and I am thrilled that she got a kick out of it. :) She says it's a beautiful book.

This is just okay. I found a couple of patterns in it that I might make for one of my boys, but most of the designs are either way too complicated (cables on steroids) or too girly. The full color photos at the beginning are helpful, but the tiny print patterns at the back are difficult to read. I bought this used and still feel just 'meh' about it. If you are looking for large, baggy, drop-shoulder, super cable-icious styles for boys, this one might be for you.

Nice sweaters but I had to recalculate the chart for the Fair Isle sweater I chose to knit. The sweater is coming out fine with the adjustments I made, though, and my granddaughter is anxiously awaiting it's completion.

Maybe I was expecting from Debbie bliss another superb design book, but this one didn't grew up to my expectations like the easy knits or celebrating family. The models look oversized on the children and had an impression that they were washed in the washing machine already million times. Might be that this is some new look I am not accustomed to?

This book has a lot of adorable knit patterns. I've made two for my granddaughters and am very happy with the outcome. Might be a little difficult for beginners, however.

Debbie Bliss has done it again - a great variety of knitting patterns with an international flare! Because they are classic - they are a treasured gift for that little one.

Clothes are really big but that's how they wore them when this book was printed.

Its sometimes a bit of a challenge to find "something different" in children's knitting patterns but this book has some really good ones if you are an experienced knitter.

I have struggled to find a good book of Children's knits, and then found this one! The patterns are mainly for intermediate knitters as they mostly are for FairIsle and Aran, there are however a few simpler knits.

This book was can only be described as filthy. I had to desanitise it and there was scribble on the first few pages. Disappointed

I bought this for my wife who is currently knitting the world for our grandson. It has kept her quiet for weeks!
