Item is nice and heavy duty. Verdict is still out on how long it will stay sharpe.

Works well on carrots.Don't know about soft veges like peppers.....Well made, I like to use a brush to get 'teeth cleaned.

Product is awesome! Does what it is designed to do.

It is a solid and stylish product that I think will be used very well, but it is disappointing. My hand strength is average, but it doesn't shred as well as advertised. Does not cut in the middle or cut evenly. It's also quite expensive, so it's not easy to throw away. Every time I see this, I've a conflict.

Easy to use and very sturdy but it is little thinner than I expected it. Great to cut hard vegetables such as Carrots and radishes.

The thickness you get is just about that of a peeler. But you have the choice of having 2-ml-wide peels or 3-ml-wide peels. But the thickness is about that of a petal or a leaf. Flimsy. Certainly not enough thickness for a sautée. For raw salads, maybe, but even that is a horrible slow motion. After each stroke, you have to reset -- take a bow, clear the shreds out of the way before embarking on the next stroke. Otherwise it will clog itself up for you. Plus you have the ever shrinking vegetable to contend with -- always awkward to hold. For a real julienne, better off with a good Japanese mandolin, stack up the slices and run a knife through to make matchsticks. I would use this contraption a peeler at best, and there are far far better peelers out there.

This product saves a lot of time!

The tool is easy to use and clean but the cuttings are very small/fine and I had expected something that produced a little larger cuts. Even so, have found a use for it but when I need something less fine have to use a different cutter.

I wanted to love it but I don't. When switching the blades, they keep falling out as you need to hold the blade in place at the same time as you screw the nail in.Also DO NOT cut zucchinis with the smallest width julienne cutter blade as the seeds will get stuck and they're really hard to get out.
