Locks in and reliable for everyday ise
I was going to use this for my F159 Lightning on roadtrios, but it’s most usefully connected to my Level 2 j1772 at home so I can park anywhere. It locks in place so it holds well, and has been run over often by my wife’s SUV and still performs after months plus tons of weather.

Get the cord before the price goes up! It's worth it and is a perfect fit for my EV!
The media could not be loaded. I searched all over for the correct level 1 cord to use for my EV. I have a 2023 Jeep Sahara 4xe and the cord that comes with it is too short.I purchased this cord as am extention and it's perfect! No issues and reaches from my townhome to my Jeep whether it's pulled in or backed in.The cord is sturdy and thick.

What you probably need if your charge port is in the back of the car
This extension cable saves us from having to back into the driveway every time we need to plug in. I don't know why almost all EV makers put their charge ports in the rear, or sometimes where the gas receptacle would be in an ICE car, but it's weird. Our new car not only has the port in the back, it's on the left side, completely opposite from where our charger is mounted. I'm glad these cables exist as a solution to the problem, but the problem itself is dumb. Hey Tesla et al: put the port in the front.

worked as planned
This was a great cable and loved the black connection handle. Unfortuantely I had to return it because I needed it to be a few feel longer. If it werent for that I would've been happy to keep it

Stopped Working after 1 year of limited use.
I bought this in 2021. We used it for about a year, maybe twice a month at most to charge our EV.It stopped working in 22, it would get really hot and the car would say there was a fault. The cable seemed very dangerous to operate so we stopped using it.I contacted the manufacturer and the seller and they would not replace it.It's now dead weight in my garage.

Works as advertised
The plug into the car seems a little flimsy compared to my Siemens wall charger. But it works, and I can now charge my car anywhere in my two car garage, and don't need to back in the way I used to. The cable itself seems adequately heavy, and the operation of my Siemens charger hasn't missed a beat.

Works great
I use this on our Tesla and the Chevy Spark EV. It works great. It can stretch to the 2nd car in the garage with room to boot. I haven't had a problem. I assume it would work fine in the rain but we haven't had a lot of rain this summer. Yet, I am happy with the purchase.

Tubing detached from base after a few weeks of use
I typically charge my vehicle at work, so have only used this extension cord a few times at home. The tubing detached after only a few weeks of use. We give it plenty of slack— so it’s not due to overstretching or stress. It is in a protected area so it is not due to the weather or outside elements. Not sure why the tubing just split apart from the nozzle/base. Very disappointing.
