Our Christmas Story: A Modern Christmas Memory Book (Heirloom Story Books and Guided Journals)

I bought this for a friend who is a first time grandparent and loves to celebrate Christmas. I wanted something with exceptional presentation for her to write and share her Christmas traditions for her grandchildren. This book was just the ticket. She loves it and it made for the perfect gift.

I've been following along with Korie's work for years -- first as a photographer and then as she started off on the journey towards calligraphy/type. Korie is an artist at heart but also has an overwhelming sense of legacy to everything she does. Her other two books have a way of making you pause, slow down, and memorialize a fleeting season to enjoy later. It's like she took a photograph and put it in word form all the while making it stunning. Her "Our Christmas Story" is every bit as lovely as the other two (but with gold foil, which just makes me want to happy dance!). When I saw it go on sale, I knew it would make the perfect gift for my mother this year. Flipping through it, I KNOW it will be the best gift I could have gotten someone who adores Christmas.So stop wasting time and buy this beautiful heirloom book that will be sure to become a family heirloom for many to enjoy for years and years to come!

I absolutely love this book! And the cover is perfect. I am all about family traditions and this is the perfect place for me to store some of my favorite family Christmas traditions, photos and memories. This is my second book I’ve purchased by Korie (I also purchased As You Grow) and I continue to be impressed. The quality is really great and the artwork and how it’s put together is amazing! I bought this for me, but am probably going to purchase another one for my sister for Christmas. I love all the details in the book. It’s perfect for a keep sake or to gift to a friend or family member. I love it! I can’t wait to see what Kory comes out with next. -Alysa

This is my second Christmas book. My first I bought 25 years ago. It was a 20 yr book and when it was full I stuffed extra pages in it. It is one of my most treasured Christmas items, and I display it every Christmas next to Santas and snow globes. I cannot emphasize enough how great these are. They make wonderful gifts for newlyweds. There are pros and cons regarding this book.Cons: 1) It’s expensive. 2) It’s not bound but spiral inside, I worry if it will withstand 20 years of page flippingPros: 1) cloth cover w gold lettering, it will display nicely 2) lots of space to write. My other was much smaller and I was always squishing things in there. 3) pages are of good quality, thick 4) classy. If your looking for cutsie then look elsewhere.I looked long and hard at Christmas books. Remember you will have this for years, and probably pass on so I suggest you don’t cheap out. Make it something you can display. Remember to write in it. Sometimes I’d finish up a year as we were packing up the ornaments but I was always glad I did. After 30 years of marriage a book of memories is very special indeed. I’m happy with this book, I just wish it were bound.

This is such a SOLID choice! Whether giving this as a gift to the sentimental friend/family member, or wanting to establish your own family traditions, this book is perfect!!!Love the different sections and design is cute, classy and not too busy! The linen cover is beautiful and the paper inside is of great quality too (aka thicker paper weight) . I've bought some for gifts and look forward to building this journal together with my family! ❤️

We filled in our previous Christmas memory book this year, so we were on the lookout for a replacement. Sadly, to replace the same one we had would have cost an arm and a leg (not sure why-maybe out of print?). Instead we purchased this book, and we're happy to have done so. The pages are large and with plenty of room to write down all those special memories from the holidays. This is an item we will enjoy using for years to come.
