Good buy
This drone is literally the coolest thing that I have ever seen! It is controlled by hand motions. It's easy to control and can be used by people of all ages. My kids love it and it lets the whole family have fun. The drone has a LED light in the middle and you change the colors of it. It's durable and the battery life is good too. It is well worth the cost!

mini toy
This is the school gift I bought for my son. When I received the gift, he was happy. The internet showing show it bigger It is not a while you have not a toy you would take outside. I found this out through other reviews. It never cracked broke when falling to the floor. So you must charge it often. We did not mind that.

Super fun for kids and adults. Highly recommended.
Super fun for the kids and adults. The sensor is quite reactive and works perfectly. It’s lightweight and portable, and made with durable material. It certainly survived multiple crashes with the way we play with it indoor for the past 2 months, which definitely proves its durability. Seen this in a major toy store in the mall that was sold for more than two times of what I paid. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a gift for children 5-12 years old.

Great little toy!
This will be a Christmas present so our granddaughter has not played with it. However, my wife and I have! This is a fun toy! It is easy to start flying, just toss it, and it goes. The sensors are great at keeping it away from walls and furniture. The material it is made with (PVC??) seems to be very robust, and should hold up well. Overall, it is a great toy and value, and should provide years of fun.

FUN WHILE IT LASTED
This was really a fun toy for 3 days. Everything about it was really cool except its durability. Besides the paint chipping off the thing went berserk and started crashing into everything and eventually died. Costco has similar ones for $15 that seem to work the same.

Doesn't hold a charge for very long
It is a fun toy, my granddaughter is having fun with it but it doesn't hold a charge for more than about 10 minutes which is disappointing. It also hovers above her head most of the time and she has to wait for it to come within her reach before she can inner act with it but like I said she manages to have fun with it. Probably would not purchase it again.

Cute toy, but has its quirks
For some reason, this replacement for an earlier blue version of this drone has some quirks. For one it seems hard to properly plug in the charger and it doesn't like any plugs on our other chargers -- only the cord that came with it (sometimes). When it flies, it seems to just go off exploring rather than behave in a prescribed manner like the past one did, where we could send it back and forth between people. This one is harder to direct. And the battery does not last long, but that may be due to the problem with the charging.

Gets stuck a lot but still pretty cool
This drone is pretty cool but it always gets stuck on the ceiling. It actually ran into me and got stuck on my shirt. The sensors don't seem to work too good. Maybe I just got a bad one. It will fly for about 6 minutes and takes 45 minutes or so to charge. My 3 year old loves it.

Run time to short.
Was going to give these to my grandsons for Christmas. I returned them though. The quality was good enough for the price and they probably would have been fun except the run time vs charge time. The charge would only have lasted about 5 minutes with continuous use but charging could take as long as 30 minutes. I think that would be frustrating for anyone.

BATTERY LASTS 3 MINUTES & FLIMSY
Overall decent. I thought it would be a little sturdier for the price. After a few minutes use, it dropped and one of the landing legs broke off. Not a huge deal because it doesn’t really use them. My biggest decision in a two star rating is BATTERY LIFE. This thing lasts only about three minutes on a full charge. Three minutes of fun, then once the Battery starts getting low, sensors don’t work. I wish I would have done my research and tried to find one sturdier and with longer battery life. Does function as it should though, but for $30, thought would be higher quality. Kid does love it but beware - three minutes then a full 8 hours charge.

Broken buy kid loves it
As mentioned by others, battery life is very short. But for what it is, my kid loves it. Biggest beef though is that the drone seems broken. One of the legs was snapped - not a big deal - but it doesn't fly for very long - the blades will randomly stop spinning and the drone falls to the floor. Makes me wish I got the $10 version available on Amazon instead... Bottom line - not a DJI drone and that's to be expected however I think I received a DEFECTIVE product and for 30 bucks, I expected a properly functioning drone with at least 15-20 minutes fly time. Do not recommend.

Incredibly fun...well worth the money
The battery life is relatively short (around 5 minutes) but this is adequate for something like this.I picked up two of these for my twin nephews for their Birthday. They loved it, as did their guests.Out of the box, I thought they were both defective...powering them up turned on a light and that was it. Upon reading the instructions, I found you had to toss it into the air to get it to work. I had it in the palm of my hand and gently lower my hand and it turned on hoovering on the spot. When you bring your hand close to it, it moves away. Very cool! Note that it tends to fly where you activate it -- if you toss it 5 feet over your head, that's where it will fly. For this reason, it should only be used indoors.Kids tend to throw this above their heads and then spend time chasing it around the room. When it finally needs charging, they are happy for a little break but can hardly wait until it is charged again - about a half hour.It is surprisingly durable and can even take bouncing off the walls or even a fall to the floor. Ironically, it cannot take a direct hit from a two year old with a light saber (younger brother) ;)So much fun, my brother bought a replacement.Even the two year old asked me for one so I ended up buying a third one for his birthday in the summer.I kind of what one now also.

Lots of fun
Lots of fun for the kids (7 and 5) and they've used it a few dozen times now. For the price I definitely can't complain too much and they're always excited for the next charge to be done. Battery life is a 5 - 10 mins or so but for the size and price I wouldn't expect anymore then that.1. I think if there was a option to double up on the side sensors from 4 to 8 I'd pay more for that for better control and less crashes.2. FYI it is possible for your fingers to go through the mesh and touch blades which feels like a bee sting for a few seconds. Largest opening on the narrow side is 1/2" or so on the bottom. There is no need to touch this though other then to throw it which starts the props after a second so it should only happen when they start getting rambunctious and slapping it around or something...
