The mats are precut to fit the floor wells of the Telluride. I can't answer the thick or thin part of your question because I don't know what your definition is. I've had these mats for several months and I'm very happy with them. I would buy them again.

No, as I never put my third row seat up. But I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t work

There are little pieces cut out. Pull them out then hook on tabs.
