Petme Prima Durable Double Door Folding Dog Crate - Premium Pro Model w/Divider and Tray (XXX Large)

I am using this for a dog that is staying with us. He is about 90 pounds and he is working on his indoor manners. It is a very large kennel. He has room to lay down in there and have a water dish. It is not a heavy duty cage, so luckily he does not try to challenge the construction. It is so large that if you want to move it through a normal doorway, you will have to collapse it to do so, which is very easy to do. I am really happy with this purchase as a lot of the local pet stores want $30-50 more.I have not used the partition, but felt that was an added bonus if I needed to house a dog that needed potty training. The double doors worked well. When the silly dog was staring at the end door I was able to open the side one and put his water in and he was unaware he could have exited that door as well.

I was very excited to get a larger crate for my 75 pound pit bull. It is easy to put up, it took me a second to figure out how to open and close the locking mechanism, but not terribly long. The metal mesh itself is flimsy and I have little confidence that the crate will keep my dog in if he really wants to get out. Also, with my previous crate, which I bought from Pet Smart, I only had to use one locking mechanism and he was golden. Now he is nudging and actively trying to get out. I will keep the crate because it is sufficient. In the future I will spend more money for a higher quality crate. I got exactly what I paid for.

The three-star rating says it's for "okay". This kennel is okay. I was a little disappointed that it wasn't better constructed and the latches are straight rather than a half-twist like previous kennels I've used. I does work and has held up fine for a couple months now so I'm sure it will be okay. It's a bit noisy when our medium-size (30 lb) dog moves around in it, even with a pillow in the bottom. I can recommend it for a crate-trained dog, however it may not work well for a large rambunctious dog.

We moved from a house to a condo. Our dog gets upset if we are gone for more than a hour or two. She then becomes a little 20 lb monster. She will destroy anything she can get her teeth on. So we purchased the crate which is very large so that she has lots of room to move around in. if she uses the bathroom it falls down onto the tray. I put paper on the tray so that it is easier to clean. The price was great saved about 70.00 . I looked at several sites for pricing. Amazon was the best as always.

This product almost killed my puppy. I have a 4 month old German Shepherd and got the XL sized one so he would have some room to grow. The product is poorly constructed with very flimsy joints that break apart easily when pressure is applied from the inside. The door itself flexes with little effort. I came home and my puppy was choking for air while half his body was trapped under the door. The second time we tried it, the entire front was bent down and open, Amazon should not sell this product.

Unfortunately, when this came, the plastic tray on the bottom was cracked and broken, so we had to return it. However, in setting it up, we noticed that it was a bit more flimsy than the ones we saw at our local feed store. It's okay if you need a medium sized kennel, but I wasn't really that impressed with the quality overall.

Extremely easy to assemble, disassemble and store. A little disappointed in how flimsy they seem compared to one we got at PetSmart that is heavier made but not easy to put up and down or store. Started to give 4 stars but decided that it was more appropriate to give 5. Shipping was fast and they arrived in perfect condition.

I ordered this thinking it wld be significantly bigger than the medium size crate that I have for my smaller dog but it's not. I have a 52 lb beagle/greyhound mix and the crate is longer than my medium size crate but is about the same size height-wise despite the dimensions being different. If I had a smaller dog, I would say this is a great crate. Very easy to assemble (my 13 yr old did it in about 2 mins) and sturdy. I like that the tray is in the crate and doesn't slide under it. This prevents the tray from sliding out of the crate when moving it from one room to another (if needed). One thing to keep in mind with this crate is when you are going to unlock or lock the crate, you need to lift the little levers before you slide them in place.
