works well. easily holds 4 slices of standard size bread. Haven't tried the big slices yet. Looks nice, the settings all work as designed and the high lift is nice.careful with stuff like pop-tarts, if you just drop it in, it might fall thru the wire holders.

I didn't realize how large this toaster is. It is made out of plastic. seems sturdy but i do wish it was made of metal. It makes toast! That's what toasters do. I will say that i feel that paid too much. Why is it so expensive? because it looks good probably. Am i keeping it? yep! hopefully it will last a long time. As far as the size, i am liking the slot size, because it will actually fit a slice of Oroweat bread or the wider slices. My old toaster, i had to skrunch them to get thing in there. But it does look good!

Chose to get this KitchenAid toaster because of quality of previous kitchen appliances from KitchenAid. Although it is made in China, I took a chance. If KitchenAid had a toaster made in the USA, I would have selected that choice. It toasts uniformly, up to 4 at a time...... great for families!

This toaster like every other long slot toaster I have purchased does not toast evenly from side to side, and I have purchased and returned some that were nearly twice the price. I am happy with all of the other functions of this toaster though and I can learn to work around that one little deficiency. I'm keeping this one, best of the bunch I've tried yet, of course they are all made in China, quality control is hit and miss.

Looks great and works perfectly

Since living temporarily in an apartment waiting for a house to be completed, we used a $9.99 toaster from Target. Perfect little thing but it could not handle the larger slices of bread. After moving into our home, I purchased this - the most expensive toaster I have ever owned, and I'm not young. This toaster consistently burns 1/2 of everything you put in it, whether it be bagels, bread, English muffins... Every single thing is ruined. Put it on the lowest setting - 1/2 burnt. Put it on the middle setting - 1/2 burnt. Put it on the highest setting - whole thing is burnt. It's cute, and fits all the bagels and bread but don't waste your money! I was going to give it to my nephew because it is so cute but then I realized it still is an awful toaster. I don't even want to donate it so somebody who has very limited income would purchase it, and it would ruin all their stuff! It's awful and I'm all about Kitchenaid. Not this time.

After using a toaster oven for years, I decided to get this toaster. I love it! It toasts very quickly, has all sorts of options such as a quick cancel (to pop up the toast immediately) and a defrost button. The price is reasonable and it looks so pretty on my kitchen counter. I put my toaster oven away and I’ve been using this every day. The toast comes out even and my thick sourdough toast has just the right texture.

Very nice quality. You can’t go wrong with kitchen aid.

Accommodates large slices of bread, adjustable toast times, takes up little space on the counter. We use the toaster everyday and it has lasted well.

It perfectly roasts whatever you want toasted. Bagels turn out perfect every time. I love the long slots over the shorter ones since we like sourdough and sometimes you get those long pieces to toast this way you don’t have to do half a side then the other long slices fit perfectly! Love it
