Birkenstock Women's Thong Sandals Flip Flops

I know we all have our “around the house” shoes. Mine are either a memory foam pair of loafers or a ghastly pair of navy blue Crocs clogs. They’re hideous, but it’s like wearing anti-fatigue mats on your feet. I’ve been a loyal Birkenstock customer since I was 14 even when nobody else was still wearing them, and I still have my first pair of Bostons, which are now old enough to vote. I wanted to try these in hopes that they would be a good replacement for the awful house Crocs, and I could run around town without having to change my shoes. I think they will do the job nicely. They are just as comfortable as my Birko-Flor Gizehs, but SO light. They are also very secure feeling. I don’t notice any slipping or sliding, and definitely no fart noises when I walk like other reviewers have mentioned. I haven’t gotten them wet yet, but I would expect any shoe to sound farty if they were wet, so there’s that. This style does run big. I typically wear a women’s size 12 thanks to the four children that bumped me up from a relatively manageable size 11 to a size where I can’t buy any women’s shoes in store ever. A size 42 (women’s 11) fits me perfectly. The metallic anthracite is a nice deep gunmetal color, not quite black but fairly close. I would recommend these sandals and will definitely check out the other EVA styles.

I have suffered with major arch issues and balance problems. These have given me great support and helped me have a cooler alternative to close toe sneakers and arch supports. Well worth the price. I bought three pair this summer. Waterproof and easy to keep clean. They get dusty around toes walking in grass but I will give them 5 star for suiting my need

Love the versatility for travel.I bought several more pairs (for myself and my teenage sons).They clean up nicely in the washing machine and are ready to go immediately.

The shoes came quickly as usual. The shoe is cute but, the look was a bit misleading for me. I can't wear flat shoes any longer and this looked like it had a bit of a lift. Unfortunately, albeit comfortable and long enough (I have big feet), it wears like a regular, flat, flip flop. Absolutely no support or heel lift. I was excited about getting a black sandal / flip flop and I wore it for a few days, hoping my foot would get used to it. It didn't. This will probably collect dust or be given away. It wasn't the best choice for me.

This product is poorly designed. The straps sit too far back on the foot to properly anchor it to the sole of the shoe, wider and larger than expected. The thong part of the shoe that goes between the toes was oddly designed and hurt when walking upon first wearing it. I’m a size 44, been wearing flip flops and thong sandals all my life but these were painful. All in all the design seems faulty at this size.

This is my second pair of EVAs. I love that they are waterproof, but have come to learn that they do not have as much support as the cord bed Birkenstocks. Regardless, i wear them out and continue to purchase a new pair every spring.

I am a man with wide feet. These are much narrower than the Arizona EVA sandals, so my feet spill out on the sides - ugly. I wear them as my indoor slippers since they're tremendously comfortable and offer great support.

They were much lighter than I expected which was perfect after a recent ankle injury. I love them! Should have bought two.
