Stopped working after 2 months
I was doing an entirely new desk set up. No more tower and decided to invest in a powerful (expensive) laptop. So I need a dock naturally for the wireless keyboard, extended monitor and charging. Dock works great but the cable it came with is too short for me to keep all of the wires hidden. So I was stoked when I found this magnetic one that per the spec sheet could handle all the things I'd be running through it. Worked great at first but I gradually had to plug in and re plug in for my laptop to recognize it. Thought it was my lap top at first but after trouble shooting and using the original cable that the dock came with it everything connects just fine. Don't waste your money.

I can no longer use that port in my laptop, as the metal piece broke off inside it

Magnetic charger is back for MacBook
Amazing item that brings back the much needed magnetic charger on Mac book. Works like the original with a minimal design sticking out of the side.Hope they make the light change depending on the charge status and make the cable longer in the future. But for what it is now, it’s already amazing.

godd finishing and not usable
The media could not be loaded. it's really has good finishing but not usable as expected the side with male type c too tight. have to use unusual power to plug it in mac port. I have bad experience with type c that needs such behavior.

the only think is that when is charged led color is still green, does not turn red, however i luv it

Worked great for 6 months, crapped out but CS took care of me
Coming from my old Macbook and transitioning to the newer Macbook with the USB-C ports, i really missed the breakaway magentic charger, especially when I almost pulled my laptop off the table. I searched for a solution and found these. They worked great for the 1st 6 months but then stopped working. I realized these still had warranty so contacted CS and they immediately shipped me a replacement! Thats great service!
