Pros: The container is really handy to have and makes it easier to keep everything together. The beads bond really nicely without using anything super hot which means no one gets burned. The tools they did provide were helpful. Especially the spray bottles and little scraper looking thing. Over all we enjoyed playing with this set and the whole family could join it so it was a win for us.Cons: the color selection was a little lacking in some colors. In my picture I stacked up all the same colors together. There was only 1 red and 2 pinks in the set and far too many colors of oranges. That was a little disappointing. They probably should have had 2 containers of black as well, but that's just my opinion. In all the tools they didn't have any tweezers not even any of the cheap plastic kid ones. We had to use some of the ones we had from other crafting sets and the tweezers are what we use most of all. Even though they do bond well with the water they are a bit sticky and messy when wet and they take a long time to dry out to the point where you can handle them. They also tend to curl up really funny if you don't put them under something to flatten out after it's half way dry.Again they were fun and worth it to us, but some things need to be changed around probably.

Update as of 4/10/20I ordered another kit this sized in hopes the first was a mix up. No this one had 10+ oranges, 3 the same, several mixed colors. It has a few mixed pinks. No yellow again. Other main colors weren’t present, I just don’t recall.I packed everything up, and sent it back. Don’t buy this set, buy the smaller one.The product still is quality. The colors given are the issue.Old review still valid on quality and such:I got mine as an Amazon repackage. These beads are not aquabeads, or beados, or perler beads. I knew that and didn’t expect that so I wasn’t disappointed. The kit comes with its own boards, patterns, applicators, instructions. You can still use branded patterns the end product will just be a smaller size. The beads set up very flexible.Pros: Very affordable, comes with a lot of supplies!Lots of colors.Tools are easy to use, love the scraper and flat tweezers.Dries pliable not stiffQuick and easyComes with gem beadsCons: I got 8 oranges, 3 were relatively the same. 2 of those 3 were muddy green mix. **I did not receive a yellow. **I did not receive a white. **A quick mess, all the beads come in little plastic tubs, with thin lids that need to be popped open.Every color is individually packed, so it takes up a lot of space.The black and darker colors bleed into other colors on the back side.**Amazon quickly acknowledged my issues with the colors, so each purchase may be different.

If you're reading this, ignore any other reviews you have read. This product is spectacular for the price. I only have couple complaints. One, It takes a little longer than 30 mins to dry, more like 2 hours. But for me, that just means the kiddos have to be a bit more patient, which is perfectly fine. Two, it doesn't come with instructions, but by the pictures, I'm sure I can just google it. Also some are on the product page. By the way, if you intend on making a ring or bracelet, you should know beforehand that you have to leave holes where the pegs are. A lot of people complained about the colors, but for me they're perfectly fine, sure there's a lot of oranges and yellows and greens but there's plenty of everything else to balance it out, besides how fast will you go through one container anyways? REMINDER: It is extremely important that you don't touch the beads when they're drying or else they'll stick to you and break apart. Remember to tell the kiddos that they dry quicker if they don't touch. Also, don't try to manipulate the beads into drying faster with a blow dryer or something else, it won't work. Lastly, you should flip the creation after an hour of drying so it can dry evenly. PRO TIP: to make this more fun for all ages, challange your older ones to make a 3d object by spraying the bottom together and then laying the beads slightly off of where the original onesnare. this was a fun addition after we bought our first aqua bead kit. There are SO many colors to choose from...I do wish there were some more basic colors though. I still will likely now buy a kit that has the basic colors for my children's projects, but still, this kit was definitely worth it if you enjoy this craft like my family does.

Great activity for my 5 and 8 year old to do without constant supervision and help needed from me. They LOVE to work with these. My only complaint is that there were absolutely no instructions for how to work with anything. We have used Aquabeads so we understood the general idea, but we have been guessing what to do with all of the other stuff it comes with. Many extras like rings and bracelets that we are very confused about how to make. But would still buy again.

Meant for young kids.. Probably teens.. Works well, but hard to do. You need patience and also like a cookie sheet beneath your art. Those little beads go everywhere at the slightest touch. I ga E mine away to a little crafter willing to take her time. They fuse together very well. There is a gazillion beads in an array of colors and transparent. No directions included.. I Googled and watched water fuse bead videos. I'd say perfect for a girl. (I don't do the boy/girl thing) but definitely for a girl. Age range.. In my head would be 10+

This kit is a great deal! It's off brand aqua bead refill that works just as well as the real thing but far cheaper. You also get Nifty tub and each color is separated into it's own prior Tupperware, which makes it much easier to organize the colors too want to use and avoid disaster spills ( usually the beads come in a tackle box stlye tray)Very pleased.
